Visit Thailand--

Why not just add the search bar and then you won't need a link?

I am pretty sure, that if anybody did have a clue, you would find the answer in this forum.

Keep reading these pre-update posts and relax...

My guess is, that it will be another few days. Not based on any real facts though..

Enjoy your weekend off, sure the Google Staff will too! :-)

"Enjoy your weekend off, sure the Google Staff will too! :-)"

It is written in Nostradamus;
Great torrent o fire, runneth through the mystic pipes,
On the third day of the third month one third of the devils repeaters are cast assunder in to the black abyss.
For on this day Goo of Gal will rage without mercy.

Let's hope the updates today or tommorow then because that doesn't sound good at all.

Any positive predictions for a weekend update?

I bet it was Tim, out of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail :) All this PR weirdness is making me think something might be in the wings though, or maybe I'm just looking at it too hard :(

What is Exactly Done with this "Comment" information, is it a way of Google using proprietary "meta keyword" tags?

Google Now seems to start it's dancing during the first day of the month.

Sometimes "hints" are shown during the Last week of the previous month of upcoming ranking tendencies - if you compare all of Google's eight DataCenters.

There are changes every day. Until you start seeing changes in the number of backlinks, there is not an update.

I seem to remember some posts in which people claimed that certain events were positive indicators of an eminent Google update. Does anyone have any theories in relation to this? No references to barn animals, please :)

Actually, it was not related to the number of Yahoo links or different results between Google data centers. But those links are useful anyway.

1) Lack of minty fresh tags

2) Tons of speculation here

3) Some spam sites receive a PR 0

4) GoogleGuy goes on 'holiday' for a couple of days

Listen for a far away rumble, and webmasters howling at the full moon.

If you use binoculars you may even be able to see the shadow of google guy wading through an eerie mist towards the big red button.

another one:

A few minutes ago, msn had a grey bar and no backlinks!
It's now having a PR4 and the search for "site:www.msn.com -xxyyzz" is giving some really odd SERPs.

The subtle knife,

This was a false alert, as it seems like the msn toolbar was already reported grey on january 29th...
Too bad!

Dan

<edit> I confirm that it went to PR4 for a few minutes anyway, so this could be an indication</edit>
