Google is the best and my favorite SE but should update soon. It's not like last year where they just dominated. Some other SEs are starting to step up. These days its all about that minty freshness. All the SEs should update at least once a month, sooner if possible but at least every 4 weeks.

Hello All,

First off I would just like to apoligies for such a late google update. I have been working so hard on new pages and sites that I have failed to slip my calander in my office from Febuary to March.

Simply stated now that I have the correct month showing in the office I am sure within the next 24 hours the google dance will start.

Everyone know google has an method to the monthly index part of that puzzle is the google bot stops by my office and checks the month and date. Usally when the new month is showing the update starts soon after.

So sorry to slow things down. Stand by for update:

Chef Brian

"Google is the best ..."

A toolbar that hasn't worked in 2 weeks, results that are 40 days old in some cases, and new Websites waiting since January to be included in the mighty Google index. I keep hearing they're the best, but I'm just too new to Google to get it I guess.

Yidaki, then a bunch of people would start new threads. Best to keep it all in one so that it is convenient enough to spot and ignore. ;)

I can't handle it...
My anxiety is through the roof...
I've been watching this thread and checking the google dance site religiously. I'm about to be baptized into Googlism...

Google Dance watchers perhaps should get in the habit of stocking up on Valium. ;) Personally at the moment, my sites are doing so well in Google on the key SERPs that most of the potential for me is in the direction of down. As such, I don't mind if the dance is delayed. However, if fate should have it that after the next dance I'll finally grab the #1 spot on that all important SERP I've been trying to get for over half a year, up from #5, then let's tango. ;)

guys,

just a quick and useful link. i check it every so often to see if the update has started.

basically it pulls in the back links from cnn, yahoo and bbci from the three google servers.

you know the update is in progress when the numbers do not match.

if anyone knows of a better page, please post it. this only refreshes once every hour.

>>still no dance, I reckon it has to happen within the next 12 hrs.

It could happen in 12 days though, and then we'd be up to 642,000 posts in this thread. ;)

Good luck to everyone, if they're making us wait this long it's gotta be a big one. It's been fun waiting, but it looks like it's time to call it a wrap.
