Daroz...LOL

All I can say is I hope MY timing jives with Googles.
I just got my new Affiliate consulting and recruiting pages up on Sunday and sure hope Google has time to crawl before the update.

Will the Google Gods smile on me or will my new pages be hiding under a cloud waiting til next months update?
Sure hope when the dance starts I'm invited.
I hate being a wallflower!

We've had several warm and fuzzy updates. I think we are due for a less than friendly one.

So true, the longer we have to wait the more nervous I'll be getting. Personally I think we'll have another month or two of warm and fuzzy yet.

Brett

Ya gotta do something about that case of rampant upbeat positive thought train ya got goin there.

But now that you mention it, why?

On the otherhand, I'd just as soon the update be at least as friendly as it has been the last couple of times.

"But now that you mention it, why?"

When Brett woke up this morning, he saw his shadow... which means a non-fuzzy update of course.

For every site that has a 'less than friendly' update there is another site that gets a 'warm and fuzzy' update.

How can it possibly be one or the other?

Yep mbennie. With webmasters, satisfaction with Google is a constant. Those on top of the SERPs think Google does a great job, and those buried way down think Google sucks. However, this always averages out to the same level of satisfaction month to month.

Linda,
if those pages are part of a well established website and they are found by freshbot, they may in fact be indexed now at this update.

I won't be surprised if this dance proves to be one of the more dramatic ones: a tarantella.

Cant wait until Aprils update, will do the update getting everyone #1 or spam all over the front. Then pull it down, they have two choices for it. Fake em out either way :P

less than friendly dance? But, but, GG seems such a nice person in his posts, and they've got a right purty piani and a big red button and cutesy seasonal logos... why, once they completely stop serving up those occasional spam finger sandwiches, they'll near on be perfect party hosts!

Unfortunately my site promotion has been badly neglected since I had a J.O.B for the past year as eCommerce Manager for a company. I just quit this month to go back to my consulting specializing in Affiliate Management. So I'm just re-energizing my site and currently only have a PR3, so sure hope freshbot still likes me. Did SEO for the past 6 years but my site was like the cobblers shoes, the last to get my attention.

THE DANCE SONG was a riot. I love it! Passed it on to my friends at another forum and they are LOL right now.
Of course, gave credit to the The Hoolinet for lightening up the stress we all feel waiting for the dance!

Put your dancin shoes on, hope it comes soon and best of luck to everyone!

Gefilte and Catalyst..

I hope the Google gods are good to you.. but if they
aren't, at least you have other talents to fall back
on!

Thanks for the awesome opening acts :)

Maybe I have been reading in this forum too long...But, I actually have been tapping my feet to Gefilte's well written Google song. I seem to have a beat that's going on in my head that is a mix between R&B and Country. I really start getting my Google groove on during this part of the jam:

"I say it can dance, it can dance, everything under control
It can dance, it can dance, nothing you can do at all
It can dance, it can dance, everybody's peein' their pants
It can dance, it can dance, everybody give it a chance
Google Dance
Oh well the Google Dance
Ah yes, the Google Dance..."

I probably should just increase my med dosage around this time of every month...)

Thanks, but please don't fuel my fire. I have more and better coming.... I have either found my calling or have too much time on my hands... NO it's not that! I have 2 hot new affiliate programs I am supposed to be re-launching and promoting.. what I am I doing here? Better get back to work!

But, I swear I have Google Dance Songs on the brain! I'm addicted and can't stop... I feel like I just have to do one more... just one more, what can it hurt? I'm already a Googaholic, I'll admit it! I know because I am home alone doing this and they say that's the true sign of a Googaholic. No - STOP IT! I have this thing under control! I can lick this thing! I know I can. Maybe I'm just going nuts waiting for the dance.
Maybe I just need to create ONE MORE Google Dance Song and I'll feel better. No - STOP! I think I should just say the Serenity Prayer and go to bed. The Google Dance will come when it comes... but I still feel out of control... Google Guy, would you come and tuck me in?

You think you've got it bad, for the past two weeks I've had Afternoon Delight [users.cis.net] by the Starland Vocal Band running through my head. The other day, I actually woke up in the middle of the night singing that damn song. It's driving me crazy (and that's a short trip).

Sky help rockets me. in please flight! help Afternoon me! delight!

You people are evil. I had almost forgot about the Starland Vocal Band. Now all those memories are coming back. ;) Surprised that I couldn't find any Starland Vocal Band fan sites worth mentioning. Best I found was some idiocy on the VH1 site that called "Afternoon Delight" a *disco* song. Not even close.

You ARE? Good lord, man, how big do you think the web IS?

On second thought, I shouldn't talk; I have that song on the jukebox downstairs.

Topic: 2/27's my best buddy's birthday and a lovely holiday for an update!

Has GoogleGuy ever described what the main office atmosphere is like for the dance? Is it frenzied or do they have their feet propped on the desk sipping a cool one? Love to be a fly on the wall...

Hi, all,

In danger of sounding paranoid, has anyone else found that googlebot hasn't been round this week to their site? Last week it took an incredible amount of data away and this week 0.

Anyone else seen this?
