AlexK, that's a different domain. But the point is very well taken. You've found a pretty obscure query (~295 results) that the keyword stuffing spammers like to target. I'll check this out in more detail.

The .9 is still in flux.
>>>IS Jagger 3 already done?
No
>>>>Has it psread through all the DCs and visible to the public?
No - only on 2 DCs (maybe 3 sometimes) - Yes, visible to the public as the DCs are in use with the other dcs.
If Google has in it's index older cached versions of non-www pages (picked up before the 301 redirect was done) and the non-www homepage is the only page that is non-supplemental, then PR could be split between the www and non-www homepages but not on all the other pages.
Will it gradually do it, or three weeks later, it will be an overnight switch?
I guess you won't get a definite/reliable answer for that. Even if MC/GG etc would like to help they probably had to sign Non Disclosure Agreements or something like that.
If the loss in your ranking is for the site listed in your profile, it seems you may have a problem. I have not been able to access it today or yesterday. Could it be down?
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Keeping in mind that Jagger update mightbe the biggest update we have ever seen until now, no wonder its taking such long time.
Jagger3 should be pushed to each Dc individually and that might take more than a week. Then the following flux might continue for another week or so.
As you see 3 weeks isnīt really much in this connection. But of course I mightbe wrong. Only GG or Matt can give an exact answer provided things will go according to schedule.
In fact the last stage of Borboun update plus the flux took around 3 weeks or so, if I recall correctly.
December 04 - Update
Feb 05 - Update
March 05 Update
April 05 - Update
May to June 05 - Update
July to September - Not much as far as I could tell in my sector
Mid-September to Mid-November - Update
Hmmmmm, what is the deal with this man? It ain't getting better with all the darn changes Boss Hog!
Good morning GoogleGuy and Matt
Would you be kind to tell us when do you expect Jagger3 plus the following flux to be over?
Thanks a bunch.
Yes Google is extremely important but not the end of the world for me. However, it really does sort of become a personal thing doesnt it, getting to the top of google. Lets face it we all sleep far better knowing were up top.
does this constitue as "dissapeared"?
ive been spending alot of my time reading about "jagger" and what to do about it.
dont panic is the instruction i read most.
but, people talk about the jagger update making there listings dissapear, does dropping down the pages count?
thanks
Salon99 methods for conducting the study were fine for the purpose of the study (note I said methods, not the application thereof).
Mistooke #1: Assuming that on the .7 and .9 IP adresses that they were looking at presented the same index/links db combo all the time (that is it was always j1j2j3 on .9) and j2 on .7).
Mistooke #2: Measuring those IP addresses against MSN normal and Yahoo normal.
Yes it is like a sweeps, I would have liked to see Google normal vs MSN normal vs Yahoo normal however.
I use all three S/E and have found varying degrees of trash in each engine depending on search area.
What would really be of interest to me is: Google normal vs Google after j1j2j3.
In other words what direction is Google going in.
Not everyone is in the same boat, some sites have not been affected at all, Others have recovered, some have good rankins that never had them before, others lost traffic, that will return with J3, others lost positions, others dissappeared.
No-one has any exact answers(and never will)
