>>Only the last of those is different for my ami-2019f modem-search, but different in a wonderful way:
My site has suffered from both Canonical URLs (hello Dayo_UK) *and* Supplementals. Fixes were put in place for both in Feb-05, yet few changes until a nose-dive in Sep-22. Finally, 66.102.7.99 shows with the correct url (bliss), and is non-supplemental (ecstacy), and is in the #1 spot (with a cherry on top!).<<
Congrats my friend. And a Happy Canonicals Day to you :-)
has supplemental a page first on a test word on my server then the actual page, the 2nd is a doi.org url only
Mega Publishers are coming all up with their offline journals. Since the scanning deal is off with G maybe they made a deal with publishers like springer elsevier etc.
curious as to what people think about MCs statement today, " J3 has less to do with spam and more to do with general indexing."
A "nocompress=1" site:my-site.com search gives:
66.102.11.99 : Results 1 - 10 of about 1,780
66.102.7.104 : Results 1 - 10 of about 8,110
(the quoted search term was previously responsible for dupe issues; it has been 301-d to a URL without this term since Feb, yet until now that has not been reflected in the G-index).
G seems to be finally taking the winnow-tool to its index. And about bloody time (forgive my french).
Added:
Even more interesting, perhaps, is -www "nocompress=1" site:modem-help.com:
66.102.11.99 : Results 1 - 2 of about 3
66.102.7.104 : Results 1 - 10 of about 177

AnkhenatonI bin them and forget them :)
Well I usually did too, but since I saw a link to me on a CROOKS R US page :\ ..
Maybe you are misunderstanding me, I never answer these mails and just binned them for years. But if alliance with them gets penalised and they link to you unasked you might want to start to worry. I remember this idiot in India that pulled the whole SUN Java rated tree with the heading reverse engineered [as he sold a Java decompiler]. So if you typed in my name it looked not very good and you needed to go into the site to see that he didn't actually say these applets where reverse engineered or fiddled with but that he just pulled the sun tree. Writing to him to pull that made no difference ..

IMO these still show pre jagger results. They look EXACTLY as i remember them before the update started, specifically my site not being included anywhere. When jagger1 began my site finally began to appear in SERPS and still do in google.co.uk and .com but not on those DC's.
As GG said jagger 3 has not even started.

For my terms these DC's are much closer to pre Jag, but they are still more heavily weighted with pages from the mega sites. It's like G turned down the radical changes of Jag just a bit.

I keep seeing my site back at #1 very intermitantly (about once every 50 - 100 refreshes) on the above Dc's. Is this basically what you have been seeing? <<
No. I have been seeing results without the need to refresh.
Just to keep people up-to-date, Jagger3 is not visible yet. Last week I said that Jagger3 would hopefully be visible this week. It’s possible that it might be visible by Friday or this weekend. I’ll let you know when I’ve got more info.
Guys, lets stop the panic and speculation and wait.
I do however notice very imtermitantly that our sites rank even better and return back to their #1 positions, so maybe there is some tweaking going on there.
I too am seeing some improvments on sites hit by the Canonical url problem on the DC - a long long long way to go - but improvements :)
