The last crawl started later than usual, almost a week after the update.
Google have no scheduled update cycle. We have no reason to expect or demand an update at any time.
The only reason for anyone to think that it's late would be that their personal prediction was wrong.

If the update was late enough in the month, they might end up skipping it.
Think about it - what if the update is on the 15th? Would they bother having another one two weeks later, or just wait until the next month, and do it a bit earlier in the month than usual.

Which is why I assume it should happen before the 10th :)
Otherwise they throw a metaphorical spanner in the hypothetical works.

um your looking at it! He's said it THREE times! Spenn a few days reading through this tiny thread and you'll find it. I think he first said it on the 26th, so I think he ment

BTW: where can i report spam here at WebmasterWorld? there's one special thread (can't post the url per TOS) that finds its way to #1 within the google news forum again and again. Damn, it should get banned!
