dvduval:
Indeed I am missing a PR7 backlink!

I checked also with the same result. I'm starting to breath easier (but that could also be the coffee wearing off!)

Worth noting: It is highly unlikely Google will reduce the size of its index. Otherwise they'll get hit with a barage of those "enlargement" emails (if you know what I mean), and that would be embarrassing!

what percentage of backlinks have you lost on -SJ?

I mean did u get chance to see your backlinks before being dropped.

We were at 72 before the update, now 71.

A very low percentage I guess. But it doesn't make sense because I've worked all month on increase this. How it has declined is beyond my intelligence.

I lost 50% of my backlinks - does anyone think that these will return?

did u ever notice the amount of backlinks the competitors around you had before the update even started. Also are your competitors sites still placed roughly the same on -SJ

I seem to have lost just over 50% so I really hope they do return.

Competitor sites look like they are exactly the same. The index is very similar, but with little changes. For example, my site has dissappeared from the index. lol
