March was one heck of a roller coaster ride for me and many others, let's hope they've ironed out whatever it is they've been attempting to do!

Well the best day so far this month.
About one hour's worth back in June, 2003
Be grateful Ian, lest the AdSense God's confiscate your wine and cigs.

Down to about 1/10th of what I used to make in 2009. :-(

Is Google Adsense running 24 hours behind? Yesterday I had just over 3 hours of down time in the morning (GMT), yet my clicks and overall day were excellent. This morning, the impressions are going up, but 90 minutes have passed without a click, which isn't normal at all for my account. If for some reason Adsense had a 24 hour delay, it would explain what's going on.

I've long suspected a delay, just not sure what the interval is. Could be 24 hours but might be even as much as a few days.

Tuesday ended up just a bit over April's average day with CTR down. Today was looking much better earlier on however it seems to be slowing down now...utterly bizarre.

Play_Bach - Shame the process isn't a little more transparent.
Today looked promising for a while, then went awful, and is now currently looking okayish.

WooHoo...Just had a few $1.00 clicks across several sites...Oh the memories:-)
Bet they stop now!

I remember the odd $5+ click, but $1 clicks are a lot less frequent these days. Happy days.

Pageviews are just about there, but terrible number of clicks - I really think my reports are delayed by 24 hours, as today's stats should have been yesterday's due to a morning's server down time.

RPM and CTR are falling again for me. I'm wondering if a gradual transition from visitors using full-screen computers to smartphones, where ads are less visible, is at least partially responsible for this trend.

Wednesday was my highest day since 7th November but still half of my pre May 2011 average. Most of the earnings came from the USA and I'm assuming someone put a decimal point in the wrong place for their bids.
Compared to April's average 1-17 it was a 193.8% day. In the history of AdSense I've never had a day that far above average. Anything outside of the 80-120% range was extremely rare for me with 90% of earnings usually in the 90-110% range.
This month I am now 58.7% - 184.3% including yesterday.

Smartphone, Android tablets and iPad users account for less than 1% of visitors on my sites.
I do know some have reported huge changes in their users' device usage however I'll be as bold as to say that's not the reason for my recent drops.

March was a better than average month but April is really screwed. What is irritating is that the twiddlers probably think they are doing a "good" job.

Depends on which side of the fence you're on me thinks. I mean ... whether you're the twiddler or the twiddle-ee.

On my sites (recipes niche), handheld devices are now about 30% of the total traffic. Last April they were about 12%, in April 2010 they account for 5%.

Yesterday earnings just under 30% of average. So far, April has been the worst AdSense month in years. :-(

Personally, I do not care how many handheld devices access my sites. I am not converting the sites for them. I cannot even remember the last time I looked to see how many handheld devices visit.

Yes, well, you're a dinosaur wolf, ork ork.
Yesterday was pretty darn dismal. Hope it picks up. Other than that (and oddly, a Wednesday two weeks ago that showed the EXACT SAME NUMBERS) it's been a pretty good month; above last April.

Why ? I am an artist, and made the site for the way *I* like it. I cannot stand mobile/cell phones as it is, so I am not going to pander for them. If they do not like my site... leave. If I am losing income because of it, then so be it.

Where's the relentless positivity, Netmeg? :) There's a thread about Google wrongly classifying a pile of sites as being parked because some bozo(s) made a programming error - perhaps that's why the stats were down.

No, my traffic is fine; it's running just a hair under twice what it was this time last year. Just clicks were down. It's probably delayed reporting, although it is odd that the exact same drop with the same earnings, number of clicks, CTR and RPM happened exactly two weeks before.
I wouldn't call it relentless positivity. My trend is upward, which is good, but I'm under no illusions.

I seem to have fallen into the "instant/hourly/daily/? earnings adjustment" group lately, and it's getting worse by the day.
The last couple of days have seen my (estimated) totals drop by 30% overnight. Not a good sign.
On top of the monthly adjustments that adds up to (more than I care to think about).
For me, serious adjustments started back in February after I got hit by a slug of rogue traffic [webmasterworld.com]. I took AdSense off that page as soon as I noticed the traffic surge, but by now I'm wondering something else was going on at the same time, no idea what though.

I have a very low CTR, EPC therefore eCPM, even Page Views seem to be lower than compared to my logs.
