Wow.. Having one of the worst week ever! Lowest ever recorded CPC and CTRs.. Amongst all that, my traffic continues to grow; and I'm still ranking on page one for all those keywords. Does anyone here knows any ad network that might be giving better returns?

And that is, flood the visitors with the same ads everywhere they go.

And that might well explain the occasional high paying click from a visitor "pinned by google" with high value ads. It could happen on a page that never had such a high payout in its entire existence. I got several examples of those now.

But still - it seems there are still times where site content & ads match, reverting to the old style Adsense pattern.

I have a few pages where the ads always match - whatever trick i play. Even upto public computers at banks, libraries or using anonymous VPN lines that get me into another country.

Yesterday earnings down again to just 30% of average. So far, April has been a bust.

Clicks appear to be frozen - I'm about 75% down on my usual number of clicks (which is pretty consistent on a daily basis) - page impressions are moving though. Anyone else in the same boat? Fingers crossed for a click dump!

I was waiting in the car earlier, and had a quick browse on the mobile, and noticed next too all my ads (no matter who the advertiser), a big arrow appears on the left of the ad pointing towards it. I checked my other sites, and this doesn't happen. Is it a mobile thing, and is it restricted to certain sites only?

Yea; personally I only see those on my iPad. They don't seem to render that way on the iPhone.

I see them on iPad and iPhone, but it depends on the size of the adblock. Only the bigger ad sizes seem to use the arrows. Now if only the ads were relevant, those big blue arrows might be clicked much, much more!

Thanks guys - not just me then. :) Strange how they appear on some sites and not others, despite being the same size ads.

Not exactly had my click dump, but had a small improvement. Still down about 50% on clicks today, despite page views are up. I'm losing the will to continue updating my site!

Holy moly! Day's almost half over and though impressions are normal, earnings are less than 5% of yesterday's total.

Clicks at 25% of usual yet impressions look normal.

Looks like some others are noticing the same. Either ads are way mistargetted today or more likely click stats are delayed for certain accounts (my guess and hope).

Absolute wipeout.

Have the people in Google (Adsense or Adwords) even posted anything about this mess-up or are they all out looking for love as per Larry Page's CEO note?
