Major AdSense Reporting Lag on Oct 6. 2010

Massive Click Dumps Being Reported Oct 7.

Just an hour or so to end oct 6, for around 10000 impressions this morning (Taiwan time, GMT+8), I'm seeing single digit earnings.
CTR has plummeted, eCPM is plummeted, and earnings worse this morning. Impressions are counting normally though.
Anyone seeing similar things?

My earnings are down again, way down. But I have seen this before (like yesterday—but not just yesterday); so often there is a big surge later in the day. We shall see!

At ths point I think that we have to reformulate the question. In fact we do not have to say IF Google di something but WHAT Google did on GA!

Again, my earnings are very low. Today my stats got stuck till 13,45 (my local time) after that they jumped and now they are stuck again.

My earnings are low again...they are the worst since I consider myself a real blogger.

Chris' reply was very poor to be fair. He didn't seem to have checked anyone's account specifically (despite saying he would) and just given a general 'catch all' reply.

The numbers Google are reporting are still WAY off. Yesterday I had 680 clicks, but I only made $22! That is .032 per click! I have always made way more than that! For 680 click my normal revuenue would have been around $60 to $70 dollars. What gives? I am losing money like crazy and Google doesn't care. Kind of like when they turned their blogs off for independent publishers. They created havoc then and are doing it again now. And just like then - silence.

Does anyone have a good substitute for google adsense? Does Yahoo provide anything? Is Adbright any good? Are there other choices that are trustworthy since Google has lost all my confidence?

So a massive drop in earnings (due to a stats freeze or whatever) and the person is asking for AdSense alternatives - on the officialy AdSense forums - and Chris didn't reply specifically?

It is very poor customer service.

It's nice that a Google employee is replying, but when the replies disregards the facts (and some of the posters who are still having trouble) and gives a general post, it gets annoying.

Anywhoo, semi-rant over.

Personally I think that - since yesterday - my earnings have been back to normal. But I'm still seeing no click dump for the 3 days in a row that I got a good number of impressions but absolutely zero clicks or revenue, and Chris' reply today seemed to say "Tough".

Reading the AdSense forum on this issue only made me more discouraged and frustrated. What's next...bite the bullet and look for alternatives? I had aplied and was excepted by some, but never used them...yet.

Google doesn't do "customer service"

I have no idea if AdSense is running behind today; I'm certainly down but it's improving. However I am seeing a HUGE lag in Google Analytics stats today, not only for my own sites but for clients too. For example, GA is usually within an hour of reporting transactions on one client ecommerce site and they only show five for today when we've actually had around 40.

Just puttin' it out there.

Yeah, I think Adsense is running way behind today. Statcounter is not perfect but it sure reports 3 times the amount of adsense clicks than adsense today.

What i noticed over the last 7 days more then anything else is the halfing of the click trhough rate, something is going on for sure...

Well, one interesting confirmation for all from Chris's response:

Rev share has not changed. It remains at 68% for you, 32% for us on AdSense for content; 51% for you, 49% for us on AdSense for search.

I'm seeing that too when looking at hourly data.

You have a little over 800 pageviews - that's not enough data to draw any conclusions.

BTW - you're breaking the Adsense TOS when you post your eCPM and clicks.

I just checked my account and not sure when but our Monday revenue has gone up 50% so there has been what looks like to me a fix. Our average revenue is correct so if there hasn't been a fix I am not sure there is one for those reporting such poor stats. Today is looking fine as well.

Earnings are down today. It could be normal. It is on the "very low side of normal." I await a click dump (since it usually happens by now) but no luck.

Today I broke another low record..7000 impressions and a little more than 10 dollars. HOW is it possible? During normal days with the same amount of impressions I would make a lot more money!

No click dump, now updates from GA. Nothing! What do you think about Infolinks guys? Does it work with Adesense?

No matter what GA claims it seems that the problem was NOT FIXED as promised last Monday...

I believe (however can't check) that ads are NOT showing on all my pages and across different countries/lanuguages

That would explain why my CTR and CPM is at an all time low because those are being counted but click throughs are not because NO ads are displayed

Someone on the Adsense forum suspect it could be due to the fact that visitors viewing sites via IE8 browers are not seen any ads

@Elvisfan...I dont know but what you said is not totally true (at least in my case)...more than 80% of my visitors use FF.

Plus the amount of clicks I am receiving this month, as well as the number of visitors has increased!

Chris at the Google Forum already gave his reply...fluctuations are normal...but sorry to say that, his explanation doesn't answer what is happening to all of us.

I have been with GA for 5 years and this is the first time I have seen such a kind of fluctuations!

My bigger fear? I fear that from now on this is going to be the new Google Adsense Standard! 0,05 -0,10 a click! :(

I just got definition of "Lame" : someone who doesn't understand what is going on. Lame_wolf its just a joke don't take it too seriously.

I have been a major critic of Google Adsense all the time, But this time i will support Google. Remember folks Google is strict and very discipline company.We are earning better because of their strictness and discipline approach.

Tell me which program will pay you even 50% of what Google pays, offcourse if you have time to do direct marketing then you may match Google.But for majority it is just not the way.
