Just an hour or so to end oct 6, for around 10000 impressions this morning (Taiwan time, GMT+8), I'm seeing single digit earnings.
CTR has plummeted, eCPM is plummeted, and earnings worse this morning. Impressions are counting normally though.
Anyone seeing similar things?

@cien

referring to ur

webcache.googleusercontent.com
translate.googleusercontent.com

post

should i allow all my internal subdomains aswell? or would allowing example.com and www.example.com is sufficient?

also

f i allow googleusercontent.com

instead of translate and webcache subdomain, wont it be the same?

Not to discourage those wanting to experiment, but I'm not going to make a bunch of changes. Sure, October has been a lousy AdSense month for me but my traffic seems to be well within normal, so what can I conclude? To me, it means that something has changed on Google's end - something, but I'm not sure what. So rather than possibly screw things up even more by changing my site, I'm going to just let things ride and hope that whatever Google has done in October will reverse itself come November.

Example URLs:

example.com allows all pages across all subdomains
sports.example.com allows only pages across the 'sports' subdomain

So, example.com and www.example.com will include all your subdomains

also

f i allow googleusercontent.com

instead of translate and webcache subdomain, wont it be the same?

Since these are Google sites, not my sites, I would include the three of them. I just don't want to take any chances.

googleusercontent.com
webcache.googleusercontent.com
translate.googleusercontent.com

Do you mean you have double the amount of visitors for the same earnings?

Are you sure all your visitors are genuine and not image hotlinkers generating bogus impressions?

@ cein

thanks man

i more question:

i am seeing now this message in my adsense allowed sites page:

Unauthorized Sites

The following sites are not on your Allowed Sites list but have displayed ads using your AdSense publisher ID within the last week.

Please note that since this report contains weekly data, it might contain sites you allowed less than a week ago.

Site URL
www.bing.com
www.google.com.ph
www.google.com.my

why bing and google displayed my id? should i allow them aswell?

thanks in advance for great help :)

how do I know they are image hotlinkers or not?

Personally I wouldn't allow Bing since I don't know exactly where or how they use my Adsense code or what content they choose to show around the ads. So I'd leave that one out, the same with Yahoo. I would allow the other Google extensions since they are Google's. That's what I'd do anyway. Just being cautious here.

Last three days have been horrible. Impressions are up 50%, same CTR, but EPC is in the dumps. October still have been the best month so far.

For bing and yahoo, they probably display your ads in cache page.

Looks like some trainee hamster has been let play with the controls today. Reporting/earnings borked/lagged etc.

CTR and eCPM way down today... Might be due to IBA-s striking again? Seen niche DDDDD-related ads (normally appearing on my DDD site) on my niche KKKKK site.

Things seem more "normal" on my end, or maybe I have gotten used to the "stats lag". At any rate, It's probably G's new AdSense Algo to really make sense of the word "estimated".

Yeah, 2:06pm here and nothing has moved since this morning. I think non-Halloween advertisers are pulling out their campaigns for the weekend I think.

Just wondering if having the old adsense ad code
is the problem we are having with our stats?

How many here still use them?

You know I had been wondering about that for the last week and since this morning I am using new code. No difference so far.

Was expecting to see more poor stats complaints here today. For two UK based accounts which I monitor am seeing clicks at about 40 per cent of normal levels - has been this way all day (now 4.45 pm in the UK).

eCPM of my main channel (with about 3000 pageviews a day) has hit a new absolute low today. The day is not over, yet I don't expect much improvement. Adsense has become a pain. Gorg is on its way to lose one of its publishers.
