Major AdSense Reporting Lag on Oct 6. 2010

Massive Click Dumps Being Reported Oct 7.

Just an hour or so to end oct 6, for around 10000 impressions this morning (Taiwan time, GMT+8), I'm seeing single digit earnings.
CTR has plummeted, eCPM is plummeted, and earnings worse this morning. Impressions are counting normally though.
Anyone seeing similar things?

I noticed that the AdSense stats for yesterday are updating (increased clicks and revenues from the last time I checked a couple of hours ago).

Yep, yesterday and today have been very poor for me recently too. Hoping it's a stats freeze. People on AdSense forum have been noticing it too:

Let me revise my statement. I usually report about stats in my direct AdSense account. But as to my earnings via a third party's AdSense account...I just got those reports, and yesterday was bad, following the trend of this month there except for one day, which was mediocre. It could be my niche, which is going through some weirdness. Or something else.

Given the CTR changed in such a huge manner, I think it's a technical glitch (that hopefully Google will correct soon).

Our CTR did not fall out of our normal range.

But the eCPM fell really bad

AdSense stats for yesterday are updating

Our ECPM inched up by $5, making the income more within our normal range.

So there's good to be had for complaining -- and surprise, Google actually listens :o)

Yea, mine have been stuck for at least an hour, but also I see that Analytics has big chunks missing out of it today too; including data on client orders that was there earlier this morning but gone now. So I suspect something weird is going on.

(But yea, I see big click dump for yesterday too)

Maybe they have to freeze current stuff while they're catching up.

Could this be a deliberate mistake? Just think about it... Google takes 30% more for an X amount of time.

Well, let me update my status relative to my previous post within this thread.

I just got a click/pay dump for yesterday (Oct. 6), so my earnings are now above normal or above expected.

This same thing happened last year around this time and did not really improve until after Jan!

Last year after the summer stats started to take a decline for most, google changes something before the holidays kick in.

I just rechecked my stats from yesterday and they just updated TODAY! I have never seen this happen, jumped up quite a bit.. wow

We were having a good day and then it just tanked in the evening... ended up way lower than normal.

Strange we are all having the same issue. Something must have changed in the "system".

UPDATE: Nevermind. Apparently they corrected the issue sometime today. My stats from yesterday look fine now. Nice!

This is the first time I have ever seen a previous day updated at a later time. Thanks for this thread else I would not have noticed.

I was just wondering about people saying they had a click dump for the 6th (yesterday).

I never thought to check figures once a day is over and the current day is live so to speak. I check in the morning for the day before and never check that particular daily stat again, thinking everythings been settled for the day.

Anyhow, I just checked and I've had a 30% click dump for yesterday... which is nice!

Now that's weird - I've NEVER seen a change to the previous day's figures before. No change to the number of impressions but the # of clicks and the revenue amount both jumped significantly.

I'm starting to think they just lost the data and offered some type of compensation. Everybody is mentioning 30% increase? That's what I got too!

Wow, I noticed the same thing. Yesterday (Oct 6) looked "on the low side of normal" and today it's up by a lot (I guess it's up 30%, though math is not my strong suit). When I checked this morning Oct 6 was still "low side of normal" and now when I check, it suddenly jumped up by a lot, and is now looking good! Whoa!

October 7 is looking okay too. Too soon to tell, but it looks respectable and I am hopeful.

When I first read that people were seeing an increase for yesterday, I thought they were crazy. But I just saw it too. I checked yesterday's earning when I woke up around 9 hours ago, and right now it's significantly higher than what I saw this morning. I never remember seeing that before either...

CTR eCPM and earnings for October 6th seem to be updated. although a little lower than expected, they're ok.

Today's stats (Octiber 7th) are still way lower. It's the same issue as yesterday. Let's hope they will get fixed too.

I don't recall ever having this big an update in stats from the day before. I checked my stats this AM and thought, "well that sucks", but after reading this thread I looked again and sure enough the total for yesterday is about 25% higher than it showed this morning.

Pretty high eCPM today. Great day so far. 1:24 pm
