I am seeing no backlinks for yahoo or dmoz on www2 or www3, also serps are changing. Is this it?

EE your toolbar fetches pagerank values from www.google so that is why you are getting 14. The instructions I sent to you are to change the IP address so that your toolbar fetches PR value from www2.

i may be in an alternate reality where everything is good for me, abut a certain site a recognize might be #1 for <snip> on www2.

if this is the case, i may be extremely happy. quite alot of work vindicated.

I'm bummed. Thought after I moved up a slot during the mid-month superflux (<<<<<< trademark steveb2003) I'd bounce over two tired sites above me, but no soap. Maybe next month.

Now, weird. Aren't the deeper pages "supposed" to have a lower pr than the main page? My index page has a pr5 and so do all of my inside pages too. Is this normal at this stage of the dance?

extreme, interior pages aren't supposed to be lower, they just normally are because people get more links to their main page. When interior pages are the same rank, it usually means your main page is "a high PR5" while your interior pages are "a low PR5". You should be encouraged as this may well mean you are fairly close to PR6 for the main page.

Looks to me like Google has once again changed what they count as back-links. My numbers show a drop of 60, when I have actually created 10 pages and gained approximately 30 new back-links. Too soon to tell if this will affect PR.

keyplyr, I have suspicion there was slight dilution of PR across all sites to make room for newly indexed pages.

if so, go to directory-sj.google.com and toggle down through all the categories until you get to your category page. By squinting real hard at your PageRank Bar at the far left, and comparing yours in relation to those above and below you, you can get a rough idea.

What's this "sj"? The equivalent of www2, www3 and so on?

This doesn't seem to be correct actually. I have a site with PR of 5. In the "normal" directory the PR is 4 and in the above one (directory-sj.google.com) it is also 4. Has anobody else noticed this?

Strange, I don't see any positioning changes at all. Prior to this supposed update, a Yahoo backlink check was showing only 4,890 for me. It's still showing that, across www, www2 and www3. Are you people SURE the update is underway?

there is one ting that puzzles me
it looks like a crawl, it spiders a lot of pages and deep BUT the address starts with a 64. like a fresh bot, any idea why? is it really the deep crawl?

Here's a huge clue this is an update...I had zero backlinks as a new site showing up in www....now I have 1,610 which is low if anything...I have at least that...I went number one for all my keywords and was actually hard to find before the update...this is defintitely IT!

in december I more than once had a website with 100+ pages crawled in toto by freshbot so you shouldn't wonder.
