Allow AdWords targeting to Google Scholar. I have some biotech services clients for whom Google Scholar would be an excellent medium. I'd like to see this as a campaign option, like how contextual and partner network targeting is selected at the campaign level. The default should be OFF, as this would be an appropriate selection for only a small portion of advertisers.

Can we have a tick box that allows us to...

Pause All Kws with Poor QS please! Yesterday would be great.

Include the 'account name' on invoices. And, ideally - the 'MCC name', too.

For those with multiple clients, invoices are not always recgnizable by account number - or by campaign names. This would help clarify.

How about the ability to link each kw with an individual ad text? That would massively increase relevance, and improve user experience!

The ability to assign certain keywords to certain ad creatives within a single adgroup and to be able to pause ad creatives as well.

For site targeting, remove the prohibition of having a CPM bid higher than the daily budget. A high value offer to a tiny niche market can have a CPM much higher than a reasonable number of impressions to deliver in a day.

As long as we're able to customize the column display now, can we have a column for number of conversions? It shows in the AdWords Editor, but not in the online xface. Would be even cooler if we could specify which types of conversions, as for some clients I have three different types. (What the heck, I have a wide screen monitor)

Actually, now that I look at it - that #conversions column in the AdWords Editor - you can't click on it to sort. You can for every other column, but not that one. I assume that's a bug and not a feature.

Hi all - A longish and busy day today, with hardly a chance to post in this forum at all. Sorry about that.

The Advertiser Feedback Report is going out though, in about 2 to 3 hours. Any late breaking thoughts?

Thanks for the many additions this week. As always, your suggestions/comments/wish-lists are very much appreciated - both by me, and a gratifyingly large list of folks here at Google who read the report.

Yea, it would be way cool if, in the next version of the AdWords editor, when we fetch our accounts we could see any words gone inactive in another color. I don't know how difficult that would be, but it uses colors for other things. I also reiterate that I would like the same date range options as are available in the console.

I just installed the latest version of AdWords Editor, and the first time I tried to post, it crashed with a notice about something called xulrunner - next time I'll get the exact error message.

Please fix the hourly reporting bug. If you try to run an hourly report the 'conversions' section of the reports disappear.

(ten pages, isn't it time to start another one of these?)

It'd be really nice if the ad serving option could be set at the adgroup level, rather than just at the campaign level. Or is there already a way to do that that I'm missing?

I've just copy/pasted your latest feedback into the Advertiser Feedback Report. There is plenty of time (and space in the report) for more. Anything else that you'd like to be in the report this week?

netmeg, I think my brain may be running at less than full capacity just now. Can you tell me little more about what you're looking for here? Do you mean targeting to particular regions, countries etc? Opting in and out of the networks? Or?

Woohooo! Just so long as there is one such thread hitting the top of the page from time to time, I'm a happy camper. ;) I love these threads. There is even a header included in the WebmasterWorld section of the template for the report which reads:

FROM an ONGOING THREAD REGARDING REQUESTED FEATURES:

On those rare occasions when I have to delete that header (due to a lack of new feedback), I feel an actual twinge of regret. ;)

The specific option I was referring to is located in the Campaign Settings, and is called Ad Serving, and offers two options via radio button - one for Optimize (show better performing ads more often) and the other for Rotate: show ads more evenly.

I'm doing some testing of ads, which means I want to set them (at least temporarily) to the second option, but I don't necessarily want to do ALL my testing across an entire campaign at the same time. Nor do I necessarily want to start new campaigns and move things around (in some cases I'm close to the limit on campaigns, and in others, I'd as soon not lose years worth of history)

That's what I meant.

Excellent.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification, netmeg. ;)

Would it be possible to provide some summary information about the number and status of keywords at the AdGroup and Campaign Levels?

E.g. Provide a column with the total number of keywords that are active / inactive for the AdGroup or Campaign. This would be a great help in homing in on where there is a particular need to review bids, improve landing pages and/or subdivide AdGroups.

I have a line on the summary page of my MCC that says "Reporting is not real-time. The statistics on this page were last updated Mar 5, 2007 5:01:02 AM EST." - that's JUST for the summary page, though.

Hi netmeg,

I'm not at all sure that such a thing would be possible, ie different bits of your data update asynchronously as data pours through different bits of the system at different rates and with different hold-ups and pauses, and quite likely some data is handled with a higher priority than others.

(For example, on the AS side I'm pretty sure that the paid click data is handled with higher priority than the bulk impression data, which makes sense for a number of reasons.)

So you'd get a nice vague summary line to the effect: "Some of your data is bang up to date, and some of it may still be hours and hours old." B^>

Rgds

I assume that's what it is - but it's already there.
