April 2019 was a kick in the teeth for most /some of us.

Easter (Catholic and Orthodox) and very low payment made April a very bad surprise.

May is here and it's starting with a non-working day (1st of May - International Workers' Day) in many countries.

Hope the best, expect the worst...

I've woken up to frozen stats too. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

Adsense stuck at 0 earnings. What's going on there?

After having closed April with the lowest performance since 15 years, today reporting is frozen!

My clawback for April is 1,2%... CPC and RPM continues to be a crap... No inprovments whatsoever.

I don't really care about reporting and stats freezing for a few hours. The problem is that when they recover, the correction is almost always abysmal. Yesterday's stats have since returned but the total amount added is a whopping $US3. No way my sites generated only $3 in six hours (and more than 70k pageviews in that time).

@trebuchet i agree with you, same problem goes here.

Earnings are also increasing here slowly... Almost €6 at 60K pageviews but guys this is the biggest problem:

Paid clicks took a hit by slowing 9% in the quarter, with cost per click down 19% Year-on-Year.

Adsense is losing it's dominance and somehow we need to recover from that. I could try Ezoic but I've to ask few questions at that topic.

Adsense is dead. Im using it since 2011. And 2019. Is probabbly the worst so far.

Its running again but I see no correction from this morning... Hopefully Google will correct it later today, but I am not sure if they will ?

CPC even lower than April. This is getting dire.

My Adsense earnings are now slowly increasing, after the report bug; yet, they are still way lower than usual (page RPM is 70% down, so far; though slowly increasing). I dunno whether they will eventually converge to the real amount or if simply a part of my earnings for today is lost forever.

April was not a bad month, despite a 4% clawback (which is huge, in my case. I've never had a clawback higher than 2%). May is starting very slow but it's just too early to say whether it will be good or bad, finally.

I have stayed at a fairly consistent earnings rate for around 6 weeks and no more click penalties, touch wood. The CPC and CTR go up and down a lot though, more clicks is less cash. More cash is less clicks.

By "reduction" do you mean reduction at the end of the month or real-time reduction (it happens within a couple of minutes or seconds from clicks) that decreases earnings much more?

@selen whom are you referring to?

All of those who experience "clawback" or whatever it's called.

@selen
For me reduction i was referring is at the end of the month, invalid traffic, that spike up to 6 times.
Today my earnings are 50% lower due to google's bug.

From what I noticed (in the past too when the clicks were being reduced in almost real time), you can have 10 clicks, but only 2 are really reported / counted. The stats are not in real time.

Well, looks like I may have to get a real job now. LOL 😝. Traffic increasing, revenue plummeting. The good ole days are gone.

I know something strange is going on today. I started off, after a few hours, with 33,000 page views and zero revenue. Finally, revenue started accumulating but I don’t know what happened to my early lost revenue because Google hasn’t made up the difference.

What I want to know is, where have all the contextual ads gone? They have always made me better money than personalised ads. I switched off ad personalisation on my personal Google account last year because they were getting downright creepy. So I should see contextual ads on the websites I visit, right? So when I visit a page on my site relating to baby names, I should expect to see baby related adverts. No. What I see is, 1. a blank space, 2. an ad for horoscopes, 3. an ad for an instant grammar checker that looks dubious. Where are the ads for prams and cots?

Just to give an update on my situation. I didn't see my Adsense earning back in my report. Today's earnings are less than a third than yesterday's. It seems that half a day of Google Ads shown on my site has gone away without bringing to me a single penny. What do you think? Is this a fair business relationship? Google is big, I admit, but we are millions, and it's time to make our voice heard. Where did all the money go? Google, give us an answer.

I just opened my Adsense dashboard and it showed a message that they apologized for the bug earlier today and because of the partnership that already lasts more than 7 years they will compensate me with an increase of 5% at the end of the month. Sounds fair doesn't it? Well guess what it was just a dream and we are just puppets for this techgiant.

Instead of only complaining we should look for a solution and it's not within Adsense. When does a serieus adnetwork start to team up with publishers?

My number 2 add network is MediaNet, but I am currently using Ezoic with 50/50 Split with Adsense and so far can only complain about a few minor things, but nothing ad-wise.

OK, just realized it was just a joke...

Despite a long take off today s revenues look acceptable and are at Feb 2019 level.

A light in the tunnel.....or is it a train

My clawback was insignificant, but I don't use ad links.
Yesterday revenue seems to be finished and it's ~ 30% lower than "usual".
Today partial earning seems also ~ 20% lower.
