I'm not looking forward to Jan. Dec = 0.50p per 1000 impressions I served millions - were see what I get in jan but it will be low no doubt.

For 1/1, the RPM is 40%~45% of December average, as expected. Just a note so others (newer publishers) don't panic over their low RPM's.
Happy New Years btw, hope everyone will have a great year! Look forward to seeing the rest of you on here!

Yeah, both RPM and CPC are completely in the toilet for me today, dropping from about $1.50 to $0.35 in both cases. It's pretty brutal and hopefully things recover quickly.

Yep - everything's in the toilet today. Hopefully tomorrow it gets flushed.

In the toilet doesn't begin to describe how bad the stats have been since mid December. This isn't normal, as in it is statistically an outlier. Something is up. I checked my stats for three years back and sure there is a certain degree of seasonality at play but this is not that. Page RPM has been cut almost in half from the first half of December compared to the second half. I have seen drops, 10%, 25% but not 40 to 50% (50% drop == was $2 is 1$.) as I'm seeing this year.
Coverage was an issue around the 18th, but the coverage came back but the earnings remain weak. So I'm really at a loss. Note that my traffic has been strong over this entire period, up near record levels.
The only thing I am seeing that really stands out is that the CPC impressions took a nose dive on the 18th with a drop of 50% and CPM bids doubled over the same period. On the 26th, CPC bids recovered to some extent, but CPM remained high (I assume that this accounted for the recovery in coverage).
So what's up with that? Is this shift from CPC to CPM here to stay? This smells of the issue we had few month back with the un-clickable ads (zloan an co..). Adsense seemed admit to some sort of a bug. Is this the same?

Yep. Everything is in toilet here as well lol.
1st Jan was good here, but 2nd Jan looks absolutely terrible.

Excellent start to the new year. And only a couple of dollars chopped off of last month's total. Here's to a prosperous 2018 (fingers crossed)!

Been pretty bad here, but at least it is much better than last year.

My traffic is higher than it has been in months, but I had my worst Adsense day in about 7 or 8 years yesterday. Higher number of clicks than the past 29 days, but earned half as much. Very scary.

My worst days in years with Adsense have now spanned from December 19th into today. Today is not the recovery I had hoped for. Somebody kicked the plug out of the socket over at Adsense.

Its worst day , but it was 100% predictable , it happens every year and going thru whole january. I dont even know why, but every year 1st Jan better than 2nd Jan

An admin have seen broken ads in Chrome thoughout the day. Might be him only. Anyone know the reason behind it? Looks like a document with a sad face in the spot for the ad. First it was for some positions, not all of them.
