Crazy, first 3 days of December down 38% from same time last year. Good thing Bitcoin is making up the difference. LOL

Very slow here too. The weather is warmer plus the Christmas holiday shopping has people away from their computers.

Thank God for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash lol :)

When is that bad, I usually look for big Holidays.
1st of December seems to be a big day for Muslims: The Prophet Muhammad's Birthday.

I don't know if it really has such an impact on traffic.

Mawlid 2017 began in the evening of
Thursday, November 30
and ended in the evening of
Friday, December 1

If you target Muslims maybe. Every day there's probably a holiday somewhere.

As for Bitcoin, I'd be hesitant to consider that a source of revenue like AdSense, but that's another discussion :-)

Are anyone else's "this month" earnings showing an abnormally high figure today?

Yep, about twice what it should be.

Mine too. Maybe Adsense is handing out Christmas bonuses this year! ; )

Griswold can finally put in that pool.

This month is really good for me, more earnings from Google Adsense from my travel blog.

Yeah, mine is a little higher than the actual earnings. I think that metric is just borked for now.

Yup, they took their money back.

No Xmas bonuses for us.

Why cant Adsense make happy mistakes sometimes?

My figures are back to normal now. I knew it was a mistake because the amount supposedly earned this money was higher than the last seven days.

Bye bye AdSense people, for December I'm already -46% of last year, nowhere even enough for minimum payout, completely and utterly fubard for me.

Meanwhile, in the RealWorld, I have just landed my my biggest-ever contract!.!.!

@RedBar
I don't know if your site(s) have a certain sentimental value to which you're holding on to.
However, have you considered divesting from them, and perhaps focusing that time and attention to your other real-world activities?

Maybe a sell-off? That might pull in a lump sum greater than the fubard earnings which seem to be recurring for you, and also save you further worries.

Had a good monday (still going) with pretty decent RPM. Nothing like Black Friday or Cyber Monday though. I expect overall earnings to be better closer to the christmas holidays. Not complaining.

This is the first Monday when my revenue is less than Sunday!

Something is broken... (must be broken).

Hope that Adsense team thinks about the future, because on my opinion is that from year to year Adsense has a trend to become not so unique and pretty unstable source of income. Hope that this won't cause mass publisher migrations from Adsense in future years, but webmasters have to pay their bills too.. This year personally I didn't mention any seasonal upswing like it used to happen every year before in earlier periods. I have the same revenue in November from Adsense as last year, but my traffic and clicks are +35% (organic, direct and referral traffic mostly from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany). Hope the things will change in the nearest future...

These are my RealWorld business sites, AdSense for many years was simply an extra income derived from them, advertisers used my sites to promote their widgets to their potential customers since my sites ranked so well, now it's arrived at the point whereby the income has dropped to such a level it's pointless displaying ads just for the sake of it.

It's a very, very simple thing for me to do, each site only has two .inc files with AdSense code on them, when I replace those the ads are gone for that specific site. I'll be leaving ads on until I get to the minimum payout, I assume that will now be the end of January and then blitz:-)

I see "this month's earnings" is borked again.

Plus the last couple of days I have been seeing under the mobile earnings graph that it was also broken down into Android, IOS and Other, that's disappeared today.

My "this month's earnings" is still abnormally high and basically completely wrong. However, my Page RPM £3.16 my CPC is 29p. This is around the same as when I was earning the good money three or four years ago. It be lovely if it stayed like this

I can't believe you're still hanging in for that minimum payout considering how well you're offline businesses are doing!

Same for me, Adsense is reporting about double real earnings. The comparison with the same period last year is also wrong.

Yesterday was pretty decent and today is looking good. The only thing that is an issue is "this months earnings card". It is obviously off and does not show a comparison to last year anymore.
