Saturday and Sunday not at all fantastic here, due to a reduction in clicks. I usually have slightly less views at the weekend, but the drop in clicks is more significant than usual.

CTR was shockingly low. Only 7 out of 150+/- pages got clicks. All the rest got 0 clicks. I really hope this was just a Father's Day thing.

Well, one minute past midnight. Tuesday started out real good, got stuck 6 hours into the Google clock and remained stuck for 12 hours. Then... Google squatted and I expected a huge dump but all I got was gas. Sigh. Tuesday ended up below average.

As a youtuber,and follower of this site, I have to admit that June started off slow, but rebounded, and I will have the best month ever....based on the numbers so far...What a trend, I hope it remains on this path for a very long time...thanks youtube/google !

Hasn't been a terrible month, and up on all previous months and years, except the last two (which is when I implemented a number of changes). Little disappointed I will be unable to improve on last month, but am still very happy overall.

I found out why my CTR has dropped since Sunday: a single ad for a well-known business taking up my best ad unit's impressions. A single click is worth about $10 but almost no one is clicking them. I blocked them and it's business as usual.

Business as usual is what worries people - is it business as usual as we in the real world know it or as those in Adsense think it is?

I noticed something interesting when I blocked that high-paying but poorly targeted ad. My bounce rate went down about 5% and my time on site increased. Those poorly targeted ads seem to drive a lot of people away.
