Well good luck with the Microsoft. I never could get a thing out of it, but most of my sites are pretty localized, and maybe they just don't have the advertisers for that yet.

At this point, netmeg, anything has to be better than AdSense (for me).

So far June has been bad for me, worse then May. US traffic is down, and clicks from the UK aren't paying out much anymore.

June is running about 28% percent better than last June in earnings (although traffic is up over 60%) So it's more money, but maybe not commensurate with the added traffic.

I've only just got the Internet connected following my house-move, so have had very little opportunity to check my googleads until now, which has been no bad thing at all!
I've had a really strange pattern of bad day, good day that's been going on for most of this month. Two days ago I had my worst day in many months, then yesterday I had my best day ever. I can only think that Google hasn't been able to update my earnings correctly during the day, and has carried them through to the following day, which would explain the pattern I'm seeing.

So far June has been an utter disaster. I survived the Feb US Panda and in fact, Adsense earnings actually spiked dramatically for me until the Int'l Panda rolled out which hit me to the tune of about 35% of my traffic with a commensurate drop in Adsense earnings. This I could actually live with and decided to leave my site alone and carry on with another project I had been working on. Then I got hit by what some are calling Panda 3 about the middle of May which wiped out another 15% of my traffic. Even this I could live with but come June 1st, all of a sudden I took big hits to my CTR (down 25-30%) and eCPM (down 40%) even though there was no further commensurate drop in traffic.

Now my new daily avg. earnings is about 40% of what I was earning before any of this Panda razzamatazz rolled out. I had to abandon my other project and now it's all about working overtime on my site and saving what appears to be a sinking ship. I'm working frantically on a site redesign and I've got a lot of ideas about content makeovers but quite frankly, it looks like a crap shoot after reading how others have tried everything to recover from Panda to no avail. But I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try everything I could.

Honestly though, this is pretty scary.

The scary thing to me is that there appears to be no reason for such drastic drops in CTR. My CTR has ALWAYS been above 3%+, and now it is below 1%. The ads that appear are basically the same, and they are well-suited to my content. There is absolutely NO reason that I can see that people would stop clicking so suddenly.

Hello Everyone, I am a 6 year adsense publisher singing the blues and was looking around on the net to see what the heck is going on. I grew steady every year and now , I am down at least half ....arghhh

Yesterday never caught up. Ended with the lowest click count all month and earnings at 20%.

Its seems to be a cycle for me, one good day, one average day etc.

It all evens out over the course of the month.

Netmeg - glad I'm not the only one. Yesterday was another fairly poor day, so I'm hoping for a good one today.
So far June is looking to be a little bit less than May, but not by a massive margin, and I guess the more we get into the summer, the more people will be outside or on holidays.

Play_Bach, It seems to me I had 0 clicks from approx. 5:00pm EST throughout the rest of the Adsense day (which for us on the east coast ends at 3:00am EST the next day). So that's ZERO clicks for 10 hours straight? Impressions normal, relevant ads.

Are they your target market or elsewhere? When I get lots of low value clicks they're never US/UK/AU/CA/NZ.

Another bad day on VERY badly targetted ads. Investment website getting ads on cloud computing (so MS has now joined Google on my blocked URL list - some appropriate about that!), hotels, and lots of consumer debt related ads.

This particular site is 99.8% USA, and probably 92.4% Michigan. Couldn't be more targeted. And most of them are link unit ads, while the past two days were mostly ad units. I really think this may be several days worth of link unit clicks, delivered into my reports all at once.

After 2 consecutive single-digit it's-the-end-of-adsense-as-we-know-it days, I'm back to double digits already and on my way to one of the best days of this month. (That's assuming the damn click counter doesn't freeze up again.) And I also very much suspect that the strong start I had this morning may have been a super late click dump that should have been accrued to yesterday's earnings.
