My whole site has a new cache date of May 25th. Maybe once these other sites around me get recached, I won't hold such an honorable top position. But at least Google has found my pages worthy to sit in the Search again.:) It seems strange to look at the stats and see Google in there, after 6 months of just seeing Yahoo and MSN referrals.

My website has plenty of outbound links, but they are on relevant pages. The problem my site has always had, was a lack of "inbound links." I got tired of searching for people to link to me (with all the spammy sites around) and gave up. So my pages have acquired some links naturally I guess(and I'll bet I still don't have more than 30 inbound links for the whole site) Still have a PR4, which I've had since it disappeared in Nov.

Did GoogleGuy post any recent comment since yesterday?

what i now see in the UK is the addition of more suplemental results attaching to more sites. For example in one data centre my own site ranks 17 for one competitive search term but ranks 26 in another data centre.

On closer inspection all of the site results are the same but the centre where we rank 26 has duel listings for far more of the same sites listed in them.

IMO google should remove duel listing and put forward the most appropriate match.

Helleborine has any member given your site the once over?

Just wondering what if any effects the site in your profile may be having on things...

They are serching for constructive help and comments such as the following help no one apart from the idiot that posted it.

Yes, and let's get a filter for "Google wants to kill off mom-and-pop businesses" and "Google is corrupting its SERPs to sell more AdWords," too. (Maybe every update thread should be accompanied by a separate frustration thread where angry members can let off steam.)

I don't know how many are aware of this, but AOL Search (and of course Netscape) is now using the #$@!% senseless google feed for results! So, I've also been TRASHED on AOL & Netscape for my once-1st-place hundreds of search phrases! Thanks again Google for bankruptcy & homelessness! Hopefully they'll catch wind of this and start using Yahoo's feed....or one of their own.

GG said in another thread that it might be settled by New Orleans Conference!

Thats June 21st folks - until then we may be watching a moving target.

So what does "settled" mean? Back to making sense and the way they were, or "settled" into the quagmire of illogic in which it now finds itself?

June 21 would be a month for this update. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to have my revenue trashed for a full month on hopes that it "might" recover.

This is too horrible, and taking far too long. Bye-bye Google, Bye-bye AdSense. Hello freedom!

I would imagine settled in the way that DCs align but you still get fresh data and smaller changes when dcs move about. EG. Everflux.

That is really the time when it is possible to judge the quality of the serps.

Slightly surprised that G can go so long in a state of flux - it will be about a month on the dot. (well more if you include Allerga) (big flux not everflux:)).

That's a bit harsh.

You placed all your eggs in one basket - a basket you have no real control over.

I've had good established sites drop and it is always temporary.
