and maybe for some other members and guests of WebmasterWorld forums: There is a nice site at that gives you the 3 Google servers in one window. Very nice to look at, and easy to compare.
(I hope this is allowed. I have no relation with this site, but thought it is a handy tool for many Google unpatient SEO's).
Greetings!

WWW2 and WWW3 show much more relevant results, but my site listing doesn't have a "fresh" date and the cached image is old.
For what it's worth, this is similar to what happened with last month's update. WWW2 and WWW3 offered higher-quality results during the "dance" than WWW did when the May update was complete.
Is it "etched in stone" that www2 and www3 become www eventually?
Come on, you know better than that! Nothing in seo is etched in stone. :)
It is, though, the way it's been working for some time -- so it's probably safe to assume it's happening again. Take "eventually" as "four to seven days" from the beginning of the update, and yeah, you'd be starting to get impatient.
i was seeing the new results on opera, via www., before i was seeing the results on IE on www. may even be still happening now. though the funny things is that one of my US customers, was seeing the www. IE, which i could only see on opera upto 00.30 hours today., just checked IE now, and the results are in line.
I think the update is complete.
in my last post, you'll note the differences i was seeing between Opera and IE concerning the www. index. Nothings a certainty except death and taxes !
one of my sites went from zero pr to 5 and just gained #1 for some of the most competitive kw phrases, in its industry. If only done this 1st version in the last 6 weeks. I'm very happy, i'm going to go and get more money and explore there ROI with them.
funny thing is there are no backward links or similar sites.
Scott, yeah you're right they are still switching around on IE, but not Opera which i am finding confusing, and no body is giving me a bone on my post.
One dropped a few places which isn't thrilling because a few down can make a big difference and it'll get nothing for a while. Another moved ahead of the 2 main competitors - it's a completely worthless search term that no one ever looks for, I just did it to try to aggravate them, which it will. :)
