This gives the best most clean spam free results.
It also provides us with a better idea of what Google used to count heavily on.
I would also point out that Google is becoming too succesful of spidering the web for its own good.
For example:
I have seen pages indexed in the last couple of months that are completely using sessions. Which is a very bad thing!
why?
Because every month the site is re-indexed and Google treats the same pages as new pages. Another words a site with 50 pages will end up with 100 pages and 150 the month after and so on this is fact and is happening.
Also for the first time I have seen them go past 3/4 values in a url.
.php?id=&myid=2&thisid=3&yetanotherid=4
With Google going deeper and indexing sites with sessions it will double the work load for the filters and produce far more results and make it harder for Google to return relevent results.
The allintext:webmaster is far better for the results in general!
I still think we have a very long way to go maybe months less then year!

Or do they represent a major shift in the google ranking methodology which is now more or less complete. In which case, from here on we will see the more fluid regular updates that we saw pre-Florida.
(personally I think the second case will apply..)
My site dropped from PR 6 to 3 today, and yesterday I went down from my most popular keyword from position #4 to #15 ... and don't see a reason why. The sites above me now are of less quality, don't own their own domain and are even hosted on free servers. The keyword is only mentioned briefly in their sites and it doesn't seem like anyone is linking them that way.
On other dutch keywords regarding my business that I look for, the results are equally bad. First you'll see a french, German, and Afghan website appearing. Then some unrelated websites that have the keyword in their bodies once.
I surely hope Google doesn't think this is an improvement...
(I am going to bed to cry some now :P)
Can you confirm what datacentre(s) you are using to get these 'bad results' on?
[added]
I believe whats happening now, but this is just a wild stab in the dark, is that the live datacentres are feeding results to www.google.* from a cached crawl.
While the other DC's are not live and maybe are receiving fresh data?[/added]

I have no idea what datacentre they come from but they have been consistant for me for more than 24 hours.
I have been checking one other datacentre - 216.239.37.99 - and the results there are different and vary from minute to minute (the site I watch goes from page one to seven to ten with a page refresh). The rubbish is still up top though.
Please stay on the topic of the thread as the moderators have asked. Read the thread before posting. <preparing for snippage>
tigger, I've found two oddball pages that show greybars where they should obviously have PR. They DO show backlinks though, so I'm thinking it is just some kind of weirdness.
Is your toolbar white or grey? Do backlinks show? Key thing, does the page show up for serps for text on the page?
The main example of this I'm seeing is a yahoo directory page where (like often with yahoo) there are multiple versions of the page like:
sg.dir.yahoo.com/Recreation/Travel/
sg.dir.yahoo.com/recreation/travel/
sg.dir.yahoo.com/recreation/Travel/
Maybe your page has a duplicate kicking around like an index.htm and index.html file.
Its a question of why?allintext:webmaster
I wonder if they are having problems with allinanchor: allintext: because I'm seeing exactly the same SERPs for the main phrase I watch for those two filters. The SERPs look like good honest pre Florida results when I use those or +www.
I'm not certain that allinanchor: and allintext: are actually doing what they are suposed to. GG said something recently indicating that maybe allinanchor: was not reliable.
Best wishes
Sid
Lets leave the spam policing up to Google, because if you are reading this, I 100% garantee you I can find something on your site that Google could/would boot you for. eg: if you have enough of a clue to read here, then you know enough to make changes on your site. Most often, those changes will be seen "disfavorably" by techs at major se's.

>Is your toolbar white or grey?
The toolbar is white
>>Do backlinks show?
yes 13
>>>Key thing, does the page show up for serps for text on the page?
it's been dropped I can't get the index page up internal pages are showing fine, also the ones with PR so it would appear the page has been dropped hence no PR showing
Cheers
Pretty new to all this so your help would be appreciated. I have a clients site that sell double glazing, now that is their main search term and since this florida update it disappered. All my clients other search terms were fine but it seemed as though this one fell into this much talked about commercial search term filter. When i put in double glazing uk however my clients site returned to #3 along with all the other sites that were there before the florida update. Within the space of the last week at least a further 40 keyphrases have vanished.
Now some pages have remained some have gone, the index page that was getting the majority of the results had hardly any seop techniques in it? so how could over seop techniques have caused that? and some pages with strong seop techniqies remain?
I have read a lot of the theroies so far but most conflict with whats happened? has any body got any theories on why this could have happened to my clients sites?
is this an seop filter or is it glitches and can anyone explain what all this IP and server updating is about
My keyword1 keyword2
allintext #1
allinanchor #1
allintitle #1keyword1 keyword2 on www
not found in the first 1000Is this an indication of a penalty? My index page just dropped to neverland. I hope this doesn't stick or I am in big trouble.
Same thing here, for keyword1 keyword2 we are
#3 for allintext, allinanchor, and allintitle
but back on page 6 for www
The top 10 or more positions for keyword1 keyword2 on www do not even show up for allintext, allinanchor, and allintitle
My guess is the "filter" is NOT applied when using allintext, allinanchor, and allintitle but is applied as a backend process after the main algo is run..
Now during this Austin update i have notice the SERPS have changed again, the 2 keywords stayed like florida with the EDU's dominating and it seems it has now increased to 3 keywords as well. This is something i have been following for a few months so i'd like to hear other peoples opinions.
I think definitely googles theming concept is happening which is a good thing, i think their could definitley be a trend in getting all authorities to number #1, which is good or bad depending on which fence you look at it from.
