Google now shows on their main index the new update and new algo.

I thought Google where going to add more back links but they no.

The number of backlinks on one of my sites have dropped by 50%

I hope this posting is acceptable

Those of you who are already seeing a traffic increase will be extremely lucky if the same data moves across to all the datacenters. You could see a 200-300% increase, considering that the data is on 2 of 9 datacenters at the moment.

lol, lol...

actually, we still see significant differences between -sj and -fi in some of our categories, so depending upon which one really goes life (eh, em), maybe some of you will be seeing 700% + increases.

Yahooooooooooo!, er...I mean, Goooooooooooooooooglllllllllllllllllle!

Step away from your computer, go outside and do something. If this continues, Google will never update because they will be having too much fun watching the craziness going on here. Brett's bandwidth must be at a record high, and for no real reason at all.

btw, though I personally was guessing 5/11 for this update, there's no guarantee that the update is in fact even CLOSE yet...we do, after all, have a recent history of late updates...hehehe

At 3:45PM today (a Monday), I have already passed last Monday's page views. I hope this trend continues, this update could be very good for me.

Or...they could introduce more variables and I could take a dive.

I hope the former, but I think it's too early for any of us to know fore sure.

Very bad for me!
Loosed all top positions for my major keywords.
I have more backlinks and more content that the sites that are now on the top positions.
Can't understand that! very sad :(
The top positioned websites have about 200 links from guestbooks.
If Google wanted to make it easier for spammers this index is good.
:(
lost all my confidence in google :(
Googleguy any comments?
Will this index stay?

It would make sense to me that in the evolution of the new algorithm, it would spread across all the datacenters before some of the "Google Artistry" is applied.

BTW, I don't see anything I haven't seen in the last several days for my sites.

The indexes on -zu or -ex look much better to me. Many fresh tags and not as much spam as on -sj.
Why take this lousy -sj index for www?

For me now it seems that on www.google.de the -sj index is implemented and on www.google.com the -ex index is implemented?
Anybody else?

To me (and I think lots of other people) there has been no real change of any kind in any way since the day this all started. I have no idea how this many posts have formed about nothing.

Same problem I see with my six-year-old...not paying enough attention... ;-)

OK, I'm sorry. Can someone email me when the real update begins...
