I get zero backlinks on that one.

Your search - link:http://www.impathetic.com/ - did not match any documents.

after doing a search ... "when will my site update in google?"

I'm thinking that's how everyone but GG found WW, probably their top keyphrase. :)

Funny, I came across Webmasterworld by doing the same phrase a year ago! And here I am, still. UGH!

profitable uses of time while waiting #567:

watch carefully the other companies in this space as they change their setups to try to do better....what will MS do...are they going to take on Google? If so what will their search engine score highly (probably pages written in ASP ASPX and with a type of .htm rather than .html...!)

The update (dance macabre) will happen when Google thinks they have completely destroyed the sensibilities of all webmasters, web designers and SEOs, so just lay back, take a few pills like I am, drink some Boones Farm or dollar store mouth wash (the 26% kind) and try to be a normal human being again. The dance will happen, and if it doesn't, you won't care. See ya in the treatment center.

What a great idea...I haven't binged that mouthwash stuff for a dog's age.

Funny thing is, Google is about the only word I can pronounce properly drunk...go figure.

See you on the dark side (*hic*).

That's too funny. But the true stuff usually is :)

LOL, he's a good sport; he'll be back, must be re-tweaking those black ops dance predictors he won't divulge. :)

Will Google become the Drunk-Man's Search Engine?

- canuck

PS. I can see myself at the bar tonight saying "Google, Google, ..." seeing if it truly is drunk-proof! Yes, we need an update badly :)

Oh to be a fly on the wall at the bar to see the look on the ladies' faces when canuck's there chanting "Google, google".

(Let's get out of here girls--I think he's regressing)...

Based on all the signs I follow, and my trusty crystal ball, I see no update in the next 48 hours. If you must, head to the bar and get plastered.

Not to worry. Once you have been around this forum for a year or two you will only be checking 8 - 10 well maybe 12 times a day when the dance is near.

ircgeeks: How about a deep crawl?

It sounds like you could write for the Simpsons... sounds like something Barney would say.

i dont see why everyone is so dam concerned about when exactly it is and they want to be on top of it... When it happens it happens and no amount of reading about it happening really will make much difference.

futureX - to answer your question, I am anxious for the update to occur because I am sitting here in limbo waiting to see if some of the MANY changes I made to my site are on the right track. I have a boatload of new things I want to do but until I know how the last changes were accepted by Google, I'm waiting. Also, I run an ecommerce site. Better SERPs = more money. Assuming my site is higher in the SERPs after this update, then every day until then, I feel like I'm losing money. It may not be entirely logical but it works for me. Now COME ON Cassandra!

i am anxious to see if i'll get rank back on a recently reincluded unbanned page, the SERP's for it are #1, but it's still 'white barred', i want that sucker to be green...greenage, please, be green LOL

It's funny. During the last update GoogleGuy said to be prepared for a quick deep crawl so they could get back on schedule next update and here we are about the same time...
