- How about a general repository for us to share filters? I'm thinking of something along the lines of the way Google offers widgets and gadgets and whatnot for iGoogle and Desktop. I've created some and gone out and found some out there that did things I didn't even realize were possible; why re-invent the wheel?
- I find the breadcrumb navigation somewhat lacking. There's a lot of times where I'm digging down deep to the keyword level, and I want to go back just one step, and I end up back about four levels, or worse yet, where I started.
- Much more help on setting up to track other types of campaigns (MSN and Yahoo PPC, online campaigns, offline campaigns)
- For those of us who are working with clients (as opposed to just our own accounts) it would be really great to be able to set up some kind of a demo account with some demo stats (or have one available) to show to clients. To be honest, they'd rather have me show them the benefits step by step with an account that looks like their traffic and their sample products than sit through your presentation. I can't show one client another's data, and they just don't seem to get how useful and important this information is unless they can see it and click on it and I can explain it in terms of their business.
Ok, that's for starters. I have more.
In any case, the Advertiser Feedback Report will go out in about six to seven hours - and I will happily quote any GA feature requests made in this thread before then.
Best,
AWA
Or those referring sites that are hot? (50% more visitors than history average for the reporting period)
Why is it Google Analytics still reports a multitude of Google domains as Referring sites? (when they normally would be in the Traffic Sources -> Search Engines)
I still see: google.co.ve; google.cl; google.com.pe etc and all the google.images.tlds?
Keywords from Bing.com are not passing to GA.
Hi Cline,
The charter of this forum prevents me from linking to Google blogs, but please go to the Google Analytics blog and look for a June 8th post entitled "Bing to be Integrated into Search Engine Reports".
I think this will speak to your post quoted above.

What I don't get though is why the CSS for the link is different than the other columns - I only found out by clicking on it by accident - there's no underline when you mouse over, or any other indication that the text is clickable. Same for the Product views - the first column is sortable, and when you click, the items become bold - but no arrow, no underline.
At any rate, as long as it works, I'm happy.
Very nice to see you posting, netmeg - and I will be certain to pass along the THANK YOU.
The occasional positive comments go farther than many folks on the forum might imagine. I know we are seen by many as a vast and perhaps aloof corporation, but there are real people behind these products - and like most folks I know, they like to do things that turn out to be recognized as valuable by 'their audience'.
So, thank you - very much.

Maybe this exists somewhere, and if so, someone will tell me where. But if not - I'd like the ability to push the custom reports I create into my clients' accounts. It's sort of like profiles - I can remake them one by one for each account, but it's a huge time sink. If my Google account is an admin on multiple client accounts, I should be able to push or copy these things from mine into theirs.
Hi Netmeg,
It's not out just yet, but this feature is coming!

[edit reason] AWA's request [/edit]
Just to explain, I was concerned that my colleague GAA had posted a direct link to the Google Analytics blog - without remembering that, as Googlers, we may not do that per the charter of the forum.
So I ruthlessly turned GAA in, to the proper authorities. I hope I can be forgiven. At some point. ;)
From past experience I know that it's OK to mention blog post titles, though. So, for those who would care to know more, look for "Share Customizations and Dive Much Deeper, Available Soon..."
And thanks for popping in, GAA, to let netmeg know the good news. Even if I did turn you in, hahahaha.

Cool! Can't wait!
netmeg - you might call me pathetic for doing it (and you might be right) but I'm still going to include your post in this evenings Advertiser Feedback Report, even though it has already been addressed.
I just hate leaving the GA Feedback section of the report empty week after week.
Now, is it pathetic - or is it a good thing - that an empty section of the report bothers me so much? :)
By the way, everyone else, please feel free to leave your GA related feedback. As you can see, it would be most welcome.

Like for example - today I am in my Ecommerce section looking at Transactions, and I would really really like to be able to look at a RANGE of transaction numbers. I can filter them by date, and I can filter them by sections of the transaction number, but I can't do something like 35200-39745. THAT's what I would like to be able to do.
(Sure, I can download them and do it in Excel, but then I can't send the pretty report to the client)
Many thanks for the edit, tedster. ;)

Whoops! AWA did indeed set me straight on this one ;) - very sorry about that folks, I'll be sure to not make that mistake again!

That's ok, I got more - I always have more, it's just a question of getting over here.

Fantastic feedback, thank you for this! I'll work with AWA to make sure this one is included as well in our feature requests.

The Advertiser Feedback Report goes out in about 30 hours from the time I write this. So plenty of time (not to mention space in the report) for further comments from anyone who'd like to post here.
Thanks in advance,
AWA
