An hour forty minutes into the day and Adsense has thrown a huge EPC my way, and clicks are definitely on the up - must be compensation for yesterday's tomfoolery.

For the first time ever my largest B&M site is out-earning my niche trade widget directory site. It may have half the page views but it makes up for it with more than double the CTR, add in my other B&M sites and this is a major change for my sites.

Now to try and analyse just what is working better with them and see if I can replicate it.

Things appear to be improving, but haven't yet recovered. Still about 25% below average for yesterday.

Things are looking pretty good so far today! Time to bust out the DK albums, and drum to "Holiday in Cambodia" for inspiration. Take it away Jello Biafra!

Hey! Jello and I used to be pen pals (no kidding) back in the day. I sent him Detroit music (on cassette) and he sent me SF music.

AdSense really tanked last couple days. But my traffic has dropped too; waiting for the next season to fire up.

My AdSense tanked going on third day in a row with traffic up on all three days. Doing good on affiliate sales so maybe that's why g ads are down.

Horribly low CTR so far today however both US and UK EPC good. If my EPC had been this high a few years ago I would have been on USD 20K+ month!

Noooo, don't even think about it:-)

Still dead. Hour after hour, day after day, no sign of an AdSense turnaround here. Such BS.

Yay, my second $5 click today... maybe Google will let this one stay.

Work. As you've said many times netmeg, AdSense "is what it is." I agree 100%. Their code is on my site, they give me what they give me. C'est la vie. That my AdSense stats these days borders on the surreal, is increasingly more entertainment value than anything else. Maybe there's some major upgrade going on and all this will straighten out. Maybe not. In the meantime, I work.

Had a very good day yesterday.

Normal page views Tuesday but with my third worst-ever CTR, only a solid EPC saved the day from an almost wipe-out...in the middle of a normal working week in my industry!

August in Europe looks set for a disaster zone and with the Euro on the speculators' menu again I'd better get ready for an even rockier ride.

Or create a blog about currency issues? :)

Second best day this month yesterday but that's not saying much.

Panda update. I'm sure this wont help either...

I'm assuming we're in an updation delay, seemingly completely stuck?

According to my logs I've alrady gone passed yesterday's numbers yet AdSense isn't even a third of the way there.

CTR continues to sink to historic lows but record-high RPMs have made up for it most days. What Google giveth with one hand, they taketh away with the other.

What a strange Wednesday. In the first couple of hours I took 33% of my entire day's earnings with a CTR I haven't seen for 2-3 years and with a good EPC...then it all went downhill for the rest of the day ending up with an above average July click volume of 131% however a flurry of very low value clicks overnight more or less stopped the entire thing ending up with earnings at 111.8%.

And so far this morning loads of page views and not one click...the hamsters have been BBQd!

@netmeg, no s#it! That's awesome. My old band back in the day was supposed to play the west coast circuit with DK and others but our producer/manager Jim Femino got a deal in Nashville and left us in the lurch. I don't blame him.

Anyway, things have improved the last two days, but the month as a whole is a loss. August? Who knows.

Anybody else waiting for a click dump? I normally don't check intra-day or even judge by the week, except when a new Google algo update is out. Why don't I spend all my time branding, social networking, as building good content seems to do no good...

Definitely, page views going up, clicks not moving therefore CTR way, way down to nearly 50% of July's average.

Why don't I spend all my time branding, social networking, as building good content seems to do no good...

It really does make one wonder when viewing the garbage in the SERPs plus the scraped content. Do we need a new social networking site "The Webmasters Strike Back"?

Darth Vader can be the moderator:-)

Even in Star Wars there were not so many clones as are lined up in the SERPS. I have counted up to 10 results for the same website on the same top pages in order! Makes one wonder how a bunch of PhDs (anybody who programs, has programmed, or has led a project knows that too many people on a project leads to disaster and chaos) can look at such results and not be embarrassed. These are likely very smart, educated, people but their collective work is now inferior to their West Coast competitor in terms of consistency, in my view. Was the web not designed for research? Or was it designed for branding and social networking?
