Today is dead, but so was yesterday and it ended OK. Tomorrow is the 4th of July in the US, so many are away.

LOL. I thought you only had a monopoly on one State but I see you've cornered 6...nice.

It's called the beginning of an Evil Empire and I highly recommend getting one.

So now that I have a lot of data to look - man has my CTR fallen down. It's like half or less of what it was last year. But my EPC is more than double what it was last year. Not just on mobile, on everything (except link units - so I mostly got rid of those) I understand why CTR has probably fallen a lot more than I understand why EPC has risen so much. I don't do advertising in the same niches, but my advertising costs for clients haven't risen like this. Hard to trust it.

I've a similar situation - CTR is about 60% down on last year but EPC almost double. If the EPC drops back down to what it was, I shan't be a happy chap.

Yesterday finished quite well in the end, thanks to my American clicks. The only countries that occasionally beat America's EPC are Australia and Austria.

Yesterday earnings back up to 60% of average. Crazy.

Utterly bizarre...apart from Friday 15th June, Monday and Tuesday were my best-earning days since the first week of May!

Page impressions, CTR and click volume returned to January to March levels however I've not placing much faith in today.

I don't appear to have been cited anywhere and numbers were up across all domains plus my SERPs do not appear to have changed.

HuskyPup, I thought you had removed Adsense from your "biggest earning site"... [webmasterworld.com...]

So, how come the "best-earning days since the first week of May" ? Am I missing something?

Hi L_W

Didn't you see my post of 1st July?

I've decided on some drastic internal surgery for my main trade widget directory site but not my Coppermine gallery. I'm going to spend all this week going through every page from top to bottom checking titles, metas, on-page etc since it's quite a while since they were last done and they're not how I would construct pages these days.

Whether this will have an effect I have no idea, if it does then fine, if not then Google really need to start feeling their bumps and try to find their quality button otherwise black hat here I come!

Annoyingly I've only managed to do 2 days out of 4 so far therefore it's going to take longer than expected however I did manage to complete the two most visited sections which should give me some idea as to whether the alterations have made any difference.

Actually it's been quite fun doing it but there are a heck of a lot of pages to do!

Yesterday and today (so far) are on the low side. The 4th is slow, but I'll wait and see.

Sailing now - if it continues, I'll have had my best day in months. Solid CTR, higher than average clicks and awesome EPC. I'm getting a lot of clicks from the US (one of my highest paying countries), so I'm guessing it must have something to do with July 4th.

Running about 50% of average so far today. Seems like a knob got turned up a tad the last few days as I'm having a renaissance of sorts traffic wise. Hope it lasts...

Best day since before Christmas. My impressions and clicks are up, yet I checked google analytics and have no increase in traffic.

HuskyPup

US traffic was about where I expected it to be for the 4th however my CTR was way up from there at 192.3% with EPC bang on US average making a very pleasant surprise this morning.

Seems like a knob got turned up a tad the last few days

Fingers crossed it continues this way, I haven't had three consecutive days like this since early March with my click volume 156% compared to June.

There, that's just killed it!

@zarathustra2011

Rampaging exchange rates?

Virulent? Making Adsense, Amazon, CJ, Kontera, you name it...

Worth 50% than before.

Oh well the show goes on.

Yesterday very slow, today is either totally stuck or clicks are being lost.

The magic of July 4th seems to have left me. Hard to tell how will today will finish, as often the EPC jumps up at some point during the day. At the moment it's on the low side.

Hours now and still stats are barely moving and CTR hasn't budged. I'll have to see todays numbers tomorrow and get the F off the computer.
