It's probably time to show examples: clean up the web of large spamers and unethical SEO practitioners then communicating on the reason why they've been penalized would help most website owners undertanding that there is no shortcut in making up a business online.
By making examples and educating website owners Google might fight spam more efficiently.
I remember the example of Trafficpower and the french SEMA7....that made some people think twice before they use either a dangerous technique or an SEo company using spam/cheats.
There will always be some spam though -
I think that it's time to fire the J3 out of jail too!
In the meantime Yahoo shot a new index tonight - looks awful - no kiding...and THEY won't fix it as of their constant behavior for a year or so.
NOTE: I hate yahoo, I think they can't build relevant search engines - They need either to recruit REAL engineers or clearly state that they want to operate the largest humanly reviewed directory because obviously automation is not going to work for them - period
I use Google and sometimes MSN - period :)
dunno why I said that but here is what I'm thinking this morning!

I have to show to my boss..
Talking about spam. Sorry..forgot something which is very important to start our webmasters week with:
Folks! Don't wait to send Jagger-related spam feedback; I'd send that now. Using the keyword "Jagger3" at [google.com...] will get someone reading and checking it out. :-)
GoogleGuy help!
