They fetched two of my regular freshes today along with robots.txt. Doesn't look like they are starting a new crawl.

PS. The September crawl started on 28 Aug for me - after the dance started.

I've got a theory why it hasn't updated yet - I'm finally going to get a good ranking with this update, so naturally it will be the shortest period on record. Look for the October update to begin October 10th, for which my pages will again disappear into the oblivion of page 110 ;)

I'm not sure why everyone is so antsy.
My memory is past 2 months it has started mid-week in the week leading up to the last weekend of the month and more or less settled over that weekend. That would make it tomorrow or wed or even thur.

Googleguy always seems to stay mum. I checked back, and back in March when the update didn't happen until April 6 he didn't even give a hint. Googleguy: you could save HUGE threads here by announcing the day of updates in advance. ;)
