Here, just north of the equator, it's the same old, same old.

G'Morning Brett, 'n everyone,

Same here for "my city industry"

I saw a few flucuations last night, but no significant changes. Well, except that a "transgender" site is now at the top. Relevancy? Hmmm... Not!

::Sigh:: More coffee!

gv is showing my biggest phrase at 16 now. It was 39 after the first part of the Florida update. Mild improvement. :)

I can't watch this. (Chicken Little was my cousin) I'm going out to take more yacht photos. You guys must have nerves of steel to put yourselves through round two of the "vigil".

I saw significant changes on -gv when this thread started last night, with my page ranking high again for it's money term. But it's back to the same old 'new' serps this morning.

The cached page on -gv last night had my recent changes, but no fresh tag. Now I've got the fresh tag, but my site plummented again for the major KW phrase.

This thing ain't over yet...

I am seeing slight results reshuffling on a few datacenters but nothing significant. I am still nowhere to be found.

I love the results on -gv. Far from perfect but life can definately go on if these results come into play!

Only change I see is Europeforvistitors' site has vanished from #1 of one of my keyword searches to be replaced by a yellow pages page with a bunch of telephone numbers.

So much for ranking content properly.

Well done Google. You're the best! ;)

Haven't seen a great deal of change, but the small shuffle spotted on -gv has just gone into the main results.

I am seeing some improvement on -gv here this morning.

For one SERP I track, the site that was number 1 pre-Florida, is now back at #9 (on -gv). Since Florida it has been buried hundreds of pages down.

My own site which used to be #4 is now around #160 on -gv. Since Florida it has been around #250.

FWIW, I am in Northern California.

Oh, things are improving SOOO much! In my niche we now have a site ranking #1 whose entire content is "Company Name Widgets has been sold (busness & widgets) and no longer exists."

#2 is a subscription only discussion group on a tangentialy related subject.

#7 is Amazon.com

I maintain my postition at #518 (used to be #8).

I am duly impressed.

Yucks, I don't like the results in GV, it looks like there are no spam filters installed!

On gv I see only the filtered results. I really was hoping that things would be better. For what industries is there an improvement?

There was a glimpse of non-filtered or non-buggy results on -gv last night but it didin't last. I'm hopeful after seeing that though.

Google has been all over my site the past few days too.

I have never seen activity like this before in the 14 months the site has been in the serps.

Some very minor improvement on Real Estate searches for individual realtors and broker sites on -gv. WWW results still seem to have banned agent and broker sites and only contain newspapers, directories and...yes - anchor text linking to our realtor client sites..

At least, it is a step in the right direction.. (I hope)

The Yahoo results appear to now be very similar to the wwww-gv results. This was the first time I checked these since Florida -- is it normal for Yahoo to vary from Google's www results (lately)?

I haven't used Yahoo to check Google results since the old days of dancing, I should get back in the habit.
I look good on Yahoo now, but I never checked results there over the past while of sweating this out, so I'm not sure how it compares.

Hi Spine,
Are you absent from Google. What Yahoo are you using?

As far as I can see it's just a shuffling of the filtered results.

So is this an "official" update?

Does anyone think that the PR and backlinks are going to be updated?

on -lm I am seeing sites start to make it back in. It seems like they're coming back in the reverse order in which they were removed (i.e.-the ones that disappeared on the 21st are back, but not in the same positions.)

Relax guys.

Just checked most data centers. SERP's still full of directories and outdated sites related to "mycountry real estate."

I hope the RANDOM results provided by Google are fixed in a matter of days and not weeks.
