Jan 2024 stats of my main site:
52% down vs last Jan. Traffic down by 29%
37% down vs Dec 2023. Traffic down by 3%

Starting the month with over 40% CPM bids.

Facebook traffic starting off low too. If this month is anything like this first day, we’re looking at an even more tragic month than January.

Just got hit with the "Ad serving is currently limited" penalty in the Policy Center while they review the "quality of my traffic". No more details than that; no mention of which site is causing the issue; nothing. First time in 20+ years with the program this has ever happened. Thankfully they only mention this affects Adsense for Search (for now).

Also, my dog died yesterday in case the nads hadn't gotten kicked enough.

I know how hard it is when a dog dies. Personally, in those first 5 days, the whole world died for me. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think, I couldn't function because of the pain. In the following months, I cried like never before. Luckily time left wounds. Life goes on, no matter how hard it is. I wish you a lot of strength.

Regarding Adsense, the same bad trend with low RPM and CPC continues as in January. To make it worse than it is, yesterday I received an 'Ad serving limit' warning, where I was told which two Ads are problematic and in principle responsible for it, and to check if everything is OK with them in terms of placement and traffic.

To make it even more bizarre, nothing was deducted from earnings in January despite the warning, which is beyond all logic.

Usually hit the $100 threshold on the first day of the month but not this month. Again, so thankful for the FB bonus program. Bad news is that it ends in 15 days so I got to hope that Adsense is better by then.

Same here, 100% CPM Bids but a decent Impression RPM.

Surprised to be back at the level of Feb 2023 this trend is consistent since last Sunday.
Looks like there is a correlation between content quality and ads quality.

not significant decreases in rpm, as expected when everybody gets CPM it evens out..

94% CPM bids and the rpm for it is lower than CPC. Looks like the fall of Adsense has officially started today.

Ever since CPM became the majority, the RPM for it decreased. Yesterday was a decent day and it was split 50/50 cpc cpm. Today started off lower than yesterday and reasoning is pointing to CPM becoming majority.
