Confirm that since the change seeing numbers from 23 for some sites 22 even Difficult to understand how it counts some of the RPM don t make sense as they go to high 2 digits which is fine

@Sissi What you mean?
Sissi

Means that the RPM for some pages are quite higher than usual which is good but strange as well

I noticed the higher rpms but yeah it doesn’t make sense because the revenue isn’t higher

Significant changes since the beginning of 2022, which had turned into a nightmare in terms of revenue. Since February 14th, revenues have been recovering. They went from -14% compared to February 2023 up until February 13th, and since the 14th, there has been a recovery to -2.4% compared to February (total monthly revenue). I hope that by tomorrow, the total for the month turns positive. But the last 5 days have been well above my expectations. However, I try not to be delusional, as I've already experienced excellent weeks that seemed to signal a recovery, only for everything to collapse again a few days later. I am waiting to see until the end of March to be sure that this is indeed a stabilization of AdSense revenues.

What I can see is that the second week of Feb was better than the first. So maybe the new system needs a good month or so to officially ramp up while the drawn down from CPM continues. Summer will be the true test of the complete system but the start to 2024 has been poor (could be worse though).
But slowly working my way back up to the expected 'minimum' here. Yep, just trying to make the minimum now.

Up 20% from January, which was all-time low. I decided to keep Adsense since nothing else pays as well and selling ads on my own will require more time than I have presently. Eventually, I will get there.
Doing a lot of fixing on my sites. 15 years of neglect on my part. I could be retired. Oh, wait, I am. ;-)
Glad to see MMedi26 and Sissi are doing well. Hope others are too.
This recent experience reminds me of an old TV ad for"The Christophers" back in the 1960s. Their motto was: "It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."
It's from Proverbs 4. Always made sense to me and promoted a positive attitude. Best to all.

Still not doing great here, looks like I'm one of a very few, but great to see others start to recover.

Today was a decent day but could’ve been better if the RPM didn’t randomly start dropping after like 12pm

Hey guys, reading some are now earning 100% CPM AdSense. Is that most here? I'm not converted yet. @MMedi26 can you comment?

As I previously shared, since February 14th, I've been witnessing a significant increase in my AdSense earnings, by at least +25%. It's an encouraging trend, yet I remain cautious and vigilant, keen to observe how it unfolds in the coming weeks to ascertain its sustainability.
I hypothesize that this uptick might be partly due to a Google initiative aimed at purging the publisher network, specifically targeting lower-quality publishers involved in practices like spamming or employing sophisticated bots. This hypothesis could shed light on why some accounts have recently come under AdSense review.
It appears that this cleanup period, weeding out non-compliant AdSense accounts amassed during the pandemic, could be advantageous for compliant publishers. With the advertiser pool remaining constant but fewer publishers in the fray, the distribution of ad revenues becomes more favorable for those adhering to best practices. These observations are personal hypotheses based on my recent experiences.
What are your thoughts on this matter?

I fully agree with this view. They did first with tax and residency document requirement which is a right way. additionally the adsense algorithm check quality of traffic but most important action ( real lead) against views. I have seen 3 digit RPM for some pages. Content quality is in correlation with ads quality

$1.80 rpm. This is worse than I thought it would be. CPM really changed the game.

Yes!
Don't blame Adsense... maybe blame your website.
Take a look at your Impression RPM...
Impression RPM tells you what your website is really worth to advertisers.

Yeah, I have been with Adsense since it launched in the early 2000s and for the first time, I can say this is the worst it has ever performed for me. I have lost about 60% of my revenue now. Big win for advertisers(and Google?) but big losses to 80%-90% publishers. This is going back to the trends of the mid 2010s where the largest networks were paying per CPM so a lot of people started gaming the system...
This one hurts especially since in my case, my traffic has gone up, I get plenty of US/EU traffic on all my properties but the CPM game has completely cut everything in half. I hope they reverse their decision and go back to CPC, this is definitely not a good sign no matter what.
Will the eCPM/Impression RPM improve? My two largest sites average impression RPM for today is $3.30 and $2.55 but because my sites don't have as many impressions overall, my earnings are not what they used to be. If this was CPC I would be in heaven. F***

I see almost no difference before and now. I even have to admit that in the last 10 days I see better RPM and CPC than last month, in fact better than since the beginning of 2024
