For french website CPM is 100% today, it was 96% last day and 50% last week. I notice a decrease in RPM... I hope things get better in next days as the system gets stable...

For those keeping score at home, my 'Adserving is Currently Limited' penalty was completely gone this morning - one full week.
Just like Uncle Albert, as inexplicably as it arrived it left. Maybe a sign that things are looking up.

@CommandDork Interesting.... As it came to us at the same time, it also disappeared at the same time.
Now I logged in and was happy when I saw 'No current issue' in the policy center. It lasted exactly 6 days for me, from February 1 to February 7. I assume it's the same with @No5needinput and that the warning dissapeared for him as well.

@MMedi26 CPC 0.25 is excellent. Last year, my CPC ranged between 0.20 and 0.25 and RPM between $5 and $8. That brought in between $120 and $170 per day depending on CPC and RPM.
This year I can be happy if I see CPC above 0.15, and that also means automatically that I will be above $100 for that day.
Now with RPM between $3 and $4.5 and CPC between 0.12 and 0.15 I can't go over $100 for that day, which is very irritating.

@CommandDork @dolcevita Just checked, the message is gone for me also.

@No5needinput Exactly as I thought. What and how caused the automatic warning at the same time for us, we will never know, but it's good that it disappeared - at the same time :) .

Anyone have experience with InfoLinks or PubLift?
Reps from both outfits are hitting my inbox pretty regularly. Anyone?
My past adventures away from AdSense have been disappointing, but given this rout I'm about to start looking again.
Anyone?

@dolcevita I’m assuming I can’t reach over $100 this month because February is a typical low month. That’s what I’m hoping. It’s very annoying seeing the decreases. Like today my RPM is at $4, another decline.

@Senechal
Infolinks is terrible. It pays a few cents per click and slows down the website. I'm only talking about the inline link advertisements that they started with as a company. I have not tried other advertisements from them and have removed them from my web sites.

Anything I've ever tried outside of the Adsense sphere has been poorer. Good luck if you find something better though - but I've given up hope on finding a replacement after 20 years of giving various ad houses a try.
They often promise you the elevator...but end up giving you the shaft.

I use ValueImpressions rn.
Do you guys have a better recommendation? I am in a tech niche, mostly US/EU traffic. I need an ad network that won't slow down the site as much as my current provider.
I do get a lot of emails from infolinks, but I'm not sure if I can trust their quality.

Hello guys. I have a blog with lots of articles (EU) but in the last 2 years I have noticed absurd drops in earnings with Adsense. Including these first 2 months of 2024. I mean, the visits to the articles are there, but the clicks are very few but above all the profit... Isn't it that I'm missing something or do I need to improve some settings? I also activated Google's GDPR message (62% consent percentage) and the ads can be seen if I test them in incognito mode but I no longer know where to go to improve :/

@Jedi82 Sadly I think there’s not much to do on your end. It’s the new system that’s created by Adsense which seems to be giving us less and less control as it settles in.

Hello. Strange thing happened to me with adsense, my earnings dropped big time. I had RPM 6-7$ and now it is 0.35$. But the strange thing is I see clicks and I see page CTR, but cpc is showing 0.00$. I have more than one adsense account and on other I see the change that has happened, when I go to bid types I see that almost 100% is CPM, but my earnings remained the same. RPM is 6-7$ like it was before the change, but on this one account I have the problem which I mentioned where cpc is 0. Also I had deduction on that account due to invalid clicks, so could this be the CPM change or maybe I got some penalty which is not showing in policy center.

May be enhancing the content quality not only to attract traffic but to make it useful for the reader Algorithms apply for ads as well Sectoral differences are a key driver for the revenues , writing about spaghetti is differenf than writing about life insurance for cats (for dog owners)

Even though the month started off pretty bad, it wasn’t that bad. I felt there still was okay numbers. The switch the 100% CPM definitely hurt me it seems. This last week was literally tragic day after day with no signs of anything returning to normal. Even my Facebook is tanking right now.

Thanks MMedi26. So so so bad. I have set all good, no penalty, manual ads put inside my articles without disturbing the reading but it seems that users don't click the ads :( In 2022 and half 2023 every months was X00€ but now...X0€ every months! So so frustrating. How do you test the ads guys to check if all it's good on your site? Personally i test my articles in an incognito window in Chrome and I see all the ads so i think all is good.

Cannot complain Same level as Feb 23 but - 25 % vs Feb 22 Against 2 weeks ago + 90 % (from low level ever). Behind this almost 6 months of refurbishment of content quality dedicated to users not low quality traffic

It s probably your industry is not popular with the advertisors. Diversify your industries , sticking with only one is risky. Expertise in a sector is a plus particularly such that have high RPMs (very high even). Times for MFA are over. I can even imagine that advertisers are still ready to pay a lot if they see actions behind a click. Adsense is not dead, our comfort and passivity should change. I have been frustrated too during the last 6 months , but had the choice either to give up or put more efforts.

Agreed. It's about industries and diversifying what you're presenting. Now a days, it is also about what A.I. cannot steal from you - so you have to be utterly unique as well as something of an expert in the topic.
