No improvements here guys, it's all dead and getting worse.

Last day of January is really pathetic :(

Few days ago when one of my top site was down in traffic, my other site CPM shot up. Now the traffic on that top site is restored and CPM on that other site has decreased. This is purely intentional from Google's end to slightly compensate for the earnings. Overall there is no positive impact of this traffic recovery and I am still getting the same amount which is merely few dollars daily. I wish PayPal was available in my country and I would have dumped Adsense and started selling ads spaces directly. I would be making more money that way than Adsense.

Gone are the days when you would launch a new site, get good traffic in few months, start making good money from Adsense and probably get rich. Today Adsense could be defined as "Poverty for publishers only"

@Redbar just curious. Has Google reviewed your corporate sites?

To be honest I haven't a clue and wouldn't know how to find out!

I have no notifications plus I deliberately don't use GA or any other G product if I possibly can.

Everything, apart from still seeing blank ads on the less-frequented pages, seems to be chugging along as normal, realworld business enquiries are pleasingly good.

Fingers crossed, so far AdSense earnings are actually up 38.5% with PVs up 6.6% v January.

Man adsense is going for the record number of glitches in the last few months... there have been more odd issues with them since april that i think the entire 10 years i have been with them. unreal.]

@Kegnum not only Adsense, I am suspecting the entire Google network is suffering from bugs. Last month i received an email from them that I have reported a play store app for some sort of violation. This month same email popped up again that i have reported an app for violation. Nope I didn't. Clearly there are some problems going on internally which they are covering up to not let their share holders and advertisers run away.

Ive seen these errors in Chrome, latest edition, quite often. Any idea what they mean?

I showed it to a developer and he said it's the ad itself and nothing related to my site or how the site is coded.

@neaptide thats funny.. i got a notice from google saying they removed content from my G+ account for copyright infringement. I have literally never posted to G+ in my entire life. So i guess they are riddled with bugs.

just wondering if anyone ever sees contextual ads any more?
do you remember the days when they actually matched the content... i've got a page about train routes and they're showing adverts about ski schools and cruise ships.
it's no wonder lots of people are complaining about their earnings going down year on year... you could have the greatest traffic and ad placement in the world but it won't help if they keep dishing up ads like that. i can't imagine that the advertisers are too pleased either, it must be a total waste of their time

On my sites, I am currently seeing Ads in Portuguese (a language whose only word I know is "carnival"), of the hosting company which is already hosting all my sites (what they still want from me, my blood?), low-quality Ads in Italian on English pages and in English on Italian ones, a senseless Ad of cheap carboard boxes in a page about 3D printers, and one which wants to sell me... fax machines (so, there is someone still making them somewhere!)... in an article about a contemporary art museum in the French Riviera.
Contextual Ads? Ohhh yesss, but in another life....

The vast majority of ads showing on my site match the content pretty well.

[I may have spoken a little too soon. Todays ads are well off base.]

RPM increased in India. Could be because of BAS, less publishers more competition for advertisers.
Or may be just quarter end bidding.

No change here.
Also Chinese New Year has effect on traffic and advertising

Is the earning down for Ads.txt users as well? Because some advertisers are not buying ads from sites without ads.txt? (PubGalaxy told me).

I can get over 400 clicks a day with Adsense - I bet 400 visits to Amazon (and therefore 400 cookies put on the person's device) would end up earning more than Google's sporadic RPM drops.

Are they randomly lowering our share of earnings per clicks due to a drop in Adsense turnover for them? In an attempt to up their own earnings?

For the people who crossed their entire site over to HTTPS, did your Adsense revenue stay the same, decrease or go higher?

I know years ago people were scared to cross over because of the Adsense plunge.

I'm still reading tons of complaints in the Adsense forums, from publishers, regarding their earnings taking a plunge after crossing over.

I'm moving a few sites over this week, so I want to be ready either way.

I did that with 2 sites and I didn't notice a difference.

I'm using 4 sites with Adsense on and RPM dropped last month for them all, roughly the same %. They then went back up (doubled) last week, before then halving again a few days ago.

RPM halving and then doubling up again, cannot be anything at all to do with the month of the year, Adwords bidding etc, because it simply wouldn't change that much within hours. It's either a bug, or Google are lowering our % share per click.

@Vegasrick Nope, though because of crawling issues, your earnings could drop slightly.

Did it about 18 months ago, Adsense revenue immediately increased and kept constantly increasing .... until December 2017

Is Policy Center broken? When I click it, I get this message: We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to process your request at this time. Our engineers have been notified of this problem and will work to resolve it.

It's been going on for 3 days. Does everyone have the same problem?

It's working now. It's because of Adblock. Make sure you whitelist google.com if you have adblock.

My earnings are recovering, but it could be due to the fact that I found a way to increase the CPMs my AdSense ads are delivering. I run everything through DFP and found that my other partners were passing back a lot of mobile ads to AdSense and AdSense was delivering a poor CPM. So I stopped targeting mobile to these partners, kept 1 that was competing with AdSense and saw my rates shoot up.

My theory is that when it's passed back to AdSense, there is no dynamic allocation or competition, AdSense just serves an ad. But when there is a dynamic allocation happening through DFP with competition, the same impression gets a much higher paying ad.

Confusing, but it makes sense in my head and the results definitely are positive.

This month my mobile CTR is literally double that of desktop with an RPM of almost 36% more, unfortunately my mobile EPC is 66% of desktop which may be due to my AdLink EPC which is 44% of my responsive ad.

Adsense is a mystery.
>> Google made 100 billion dollars last year from all their services.

With just a few hours remaining of my AdSense day I am shaping-up to my lowest-ever earnings with an average EPC of 8 cents plus my lowest CTR and RPM of the month.

Coincidentally this crash seems to have happened with the Getty image agreement.

Anyone else?

Clicks down, eCPM is 2 inches close to the bottom.

Wonder if the massive sites that use adsense are seeing similar lows or if it is just relatively small account. I am seeing these lows and i make 5 figures monthly with adsense.. but i have a feeling that is still on the smaller side.
