Pretty awful here - 20% drop overall in Adsense on July 1 compared to June 30 and the preceding week. Even worse was a 25% drop in AdExchange. Could this be because it's the start of a new quarter? My CTRs were actually up considerably—enough to make my Adsense rep contact me.
The 1st was dismal and today is just messed up. I got a huge click dump, all went way up. Navigated away to check the ad review center, came back and all was gone. Every new click and earning, washed away.
I'm having such a good day today! Like the old days. Definitely no something that I'm used to seeing. A year ago I would have shrugged my shoulders. Today I'm in a state of shock. I want more shocks to my system!
Going to be a tough week. We depend on TV traffic, and when certain cable stations don't air the stuff our content is focused on, we lose traffic. Wow. Next two weeks look promising, though, lots more air time for our stuff.
This is one of the worst weeks I've ever seen. It's like this one cable station in particular decided NOT to air its most popular show all week.
Two hours left and I'm at about 30% of what I made yesterday. This is the madness that I've become numb to. I'm not expecting this to bump in the last 2 hours. It's such a different beast it's not even funny. For me at least.
What is it with Adsense? Overall, I'm not complaining. Last year was my best ever year, and this year so far is up by about 18% on last year for the same period. However, it's just a constant roller coaster.
June was good, but I have experienced the same downturn since 29th June as reported by others. Sometimes it flies along - good CTR and good EPC. At other times - like right now - clicks dry up and when they do occasionally come the earnings are very low.
To compound matters, whenever I seem to get going again Google comes along and takes away my clicks and earnings. This has been going on for some time, but it seems to be getting worse. They used to just remove the earnings. Now they remove the earnings and the clicks. Unless you log in frequently and see what is happening, you are not even aware that clicks arrive and then disappear. I wish they would be more transparent about this - maybe a figure for the number of disallowed clicks and a reason why.
Adsense for search used to be quite good, but that has turned really sour. Clicks for search are down and earnings are way down. Some clicks register 0.00 earnings.
