Back on subject, Sunday ended good. Today is slow so who knows.

I just noticed that I'm not seeing arrows on any site today, including mine. Anyone else seeing this? (desk top)

Showing arrows here (SF Bay Area, USA)

I saw the arrows in my site, but only in iPad or iPhone.

I do not what is happening in this month to me. January, my best month since 2007, February, to 2008 levels, and this month with the lowest diary earnings ever.
8:12 pm on Mar 18, 2013 (gmt 0)

My computer I don't see them, desk next to me see them. I did just clear browsing data. - Cleared data on other computer and still see arrows. Must just be wishful thinking.

Los Angles area.

I also have arrows on my sites on laptop. They never really made much difference to earnings when they first appeared.
1:30 pm on Mar 19, 2013 (gmt 0)

WooHoo ... My first day of March with an above 2013 average thanks to an excellent EPC from the USA., even Page Views recovered a bit.

Lucky you HP - yesterday was a dud.

Monday was really bad, even though CTR was good, just really low CPC. Now what will today bring...so far no good.
4:50 pm on Mar 19, 2013 (gmt 0)

cpc is on fire (along with rpm), second day in a row cpc is above average. Hope this will continues.
Easter coming up, so this might be the reason
8:08 am on Mar 20, 2013 (gmt 0)

Good for you ROmeo. For me yesterday was another record low.

Ad targetting seems way off (again). It looks like I'm getting site level targetting rather than page level targetting. Pages are showing ads that might fit somewhere else on that site but are wrong for that page. For example if I have a widget site with pages on "widgets for pets" and "widgets in the kitchen" the "pets" page might be showing ads for cooking equipment!

CTR yesterday was unbelievably low. I've not touched anything so it must be happening at Google's end but I'm at a loss as to what I should do.

Yesterday was an absolute disaster. You know those days when you log in to your account and your stomach just sinks...

CPC is perfectly normal, but so far today CTR is equal to the lowest ive seen since this mess started
3:43 pm on Mar 21, 2013 (gmt 0)

Pointless me posting any more, 19/20 days in March, my busiest time of year, have been below 2013 average.

I've been trying to resolve this since May 2011, there is nothing wrong with my sites, Google just seems to prefer scrapers with a faux SERPs and delivering a below-minimum wage income.

Just how is it possible to go from USD 333.00+ per day to less than USD 20.00?.?.?

Of course, there's nothing wrong whatsoever, it's all my imagination!

And YES, I know they never guaranteed anyone anthing...except themselves, remarkable that!

HuskyPup, what does support say when you ask them?
5:18 pm on Mar 21, 2013 (gmt 0)

The usual canned response, one would never believe I've been in the programme since its inception and may be deserving of a real response and review as to why my main keyword went from #1 in Google.com to #500+ meanwhile all other Google.tlds still rank it at the top.

It's pathetic and it's very corrupt in that company, the site that replaced me has not budged an inch since Google installed it there!

If I showed you the graph chart from 2011 until now you'd be shocked.

I'm totally and utterly fed-up of playing Google's chase me chase me game which I can never win since "I don't know the right people" and knowing where to deposit guaranteed SERPs results.

Yep, you got it, I am now well and truly pi$$ed of with Google and I shall find a whistle blower.

HP, so the issue is more with Google search than with Adsense? Loss of traffic = loss of Adsense revenue.
8:01 pm on Mar 21, 2013 (gmt 0)

HuskyPup Sorry to hear about your dilemma. Everyone that relies on Google traffic cam easily be in the same boat.

Best thing to do is to work on getting traffic from other sources. Social, other search engines, direct traffic, advertising, stand on the corner with a sign, newsletter, anything you can think off.

Google traffic is a gift than can be taken back in a second. Organic results are getting pushed down Google advertisers and properties are moving up. Some searches there are no organic results above the fold, especially on tablets.

Hope things improve for you Husky.

Absolutely, I've been scraped and scraped yet Google has always kept me near the top yet an Italian company scraped me and put in excess of 1,500 links, yes that's one thousand five hundred internal URL links, on his home page and now he's virtually taken over for everything.

I've watched him do it with three other sites exactly the same and Google's ranking him basically #1 and #2 meanwhile I've been crucified and these other guys have too. He has hardly any backlinks whatsoever therefore don't go down that route...I am in on-going discussions with those other Italian companies.

The guy has NO advertising on his site, all he is doing is a scattergun approach and he hopes he'll get an enquiry for some of the products he's ranking for that he can supply since he can't obtain many of those products anywhere...they're mine, they're exclusive, I'll not sell them to him yet Google has decided he's the main man!

I've even created fictious product names yet he plus many Chinese, Indian and USA directories all outrank me for a non-existent product. They've scraped my images, they've scraped my text and in most cases scraped all my code.

Now just how freakin' stupid is this algo?

After 18 years we're going back to what we know best and screw Google. We're going back to trade exhibitions where the majority of bulk buyers already know us. The AdSense revenue was nice whilst it lasted, I never could see how it could last ... Why should Google pay me as a middleman for advertising on my trade widget site?

Their policy was to slit my throat thinking that they'd slowly let me bleed to death on the occasional droppings they let pass through, oh just how wrong they were. I have never needed AdSense, those who know me know why I do not need Google, the people I deal with are honourable and definitely do not change their minds what, 500 plus times a year.

Google cannot change itself into a knowledge engine without first acknowledging that not ONE IOTA of "knowledge" they already have they have not created themselves. They do not have one single expert on any single subject matter ... period ... and until the people who are genuinely creating this "knowledge" realise how much they are being screwed-over for less-than-minimum wages and start acting togther as a genuine representative body, then don't say I didn't forewarn you.

They'll keep raping you for your mind and knowledge meanwhile not sharing the proceeds with anyone else ... and for the many Google staff who read here, this means YOU too.

You will be superfluous to requirements when they roll-out their super-automated, machine-learning alorithm that doesn't require you all and if anyone complains that the knowledge is wrong they'll just say "Oh it's just a baby in its learning process, you've got expect the occasional mistake" ...

These could be very human life or death scenarios that they'll just pass-off as "learning" ... Much like friendly fire folks!

+777 HuskyPup

My project I've mentioned sporadically lately, now I'm thinking of publishing a book rather than dumping the info onto the internet for google and their MFA cronies to scrape and profit from. However I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to understanding how to get a book published. More learning, but the Internet is becoming a very bad neighbourhood, so it'll be worth it I'm sure.

<----- Post 777, well spent here rather than what I had originally intended it for.
