Well, my February was all over the place, very similar to The Himalayas in profile!

They posted yesterday 3/13 that stats would be a mess all day on their official forums - only saw it after the fact. I sure wish they would make notes like that in our AdSense accounts in addition to having to track down their forum posts when something seems awry. Because it sure seems they can put any number of superfluous messages in our accounts!

All I shall write is that I am heading for my worst month ever since the creation of AdSense and implementing it across all sites ... What's that, 8 years?

I was just thinking the same thing. Worst month since the second day I implemented it nine years ago.

Last two days I have seen a improvement. CPC is way up but CTR is still around 40% off of average. At least its moving in the right direction, for me at least.

I put Google analytics back on Sunday after not using it for a year. I wonder if that could have helped in some way. Never really know..

Looks like they've screwed it up again. The more I see this kind of thing with Google the less I think of them as engineers and more of knob twiddlers.

HuskyPup, I think I read somewhere that you put Adsense on an image gallery site. Personally, I think that may seriously smart price an account. Just a thought.

Believe this or not however that gallery has the highest EPC across all my sites plus I have no option but to have images because of my widgets, people come to view my widgets to see representative widget images.

Is Google going to turn into a Wikipedia, serve up ads and try not to send traffic anywhere else?

If they do this, then they will be nuked with DMCAs. Google will find itself shut out from most of the web. Microsoft and Balmer must be laughing their heads off at Google repeating their mistakes.

Eh, go read Danny's post on SearchEngineLand. He makes a compelling case that most of what those articles are talking about has already occurred, it's just a PR thing. At least everything they mentioned in the article is already going on.

So far my worst ever USA day with a .17% CTR with Page Views already 50% of the daily average.

I'm no longer in free fall since I'm just about to hit the ground, borked, fubard, call it whatever you like, AdSense is completely useless on my sites now.
