November 2011 AdSense Earnings & Observations

My October 2011 ended with earnings at 45% and Page Impressions at 91.4% v October 2010. I can't imagine what G will do to me later this month running up to Thanksgiving and Xmas!

The first six days of the month, great, the best start to a month ever. Seventh day - almost nothing. Perhaps G rests on the seventh day? Today, the eighth day, clicks return but earnings very low. The first four clicks earn me tuppence. The fifth click arrives and it's quite good - I feel good again. However, next time I check, the earnings from the fifth good click have disappeared and I see five clicks for tuppence instead of four clicks for tuppence.

I've been seeing this quite a lot lately and it's frustrating. Earnings come in, only to disappear next time I check. What I can absolutely guarantee is that it's not me clicking on my own ads. As to why some clicks are not being allowed, I don't know. Google can't do this manually. My guess is that there is an invalid click algo and, for whatever reason, I keep getting penalised.

A great start to the month, then it went off again (much like October), though today seems very strong on reported earnings and the number of clicks. As the reports haven't been revised in the past 3-4 hours, I'm hoping they stick!

Today by 10AM my earnings reached the 90% of a normal day, too early, and since that moment the earnings have been stucked, not a single clic more.

I've had days like that explorador, though today mine have gone pretty high early in the day, and continued to climb.

Could somebody confirm that the domain parking company S*D* uses Adsense for ads? I see pretty funky things in my account there.

It doesn't use AdSense, but it does use a Google feed. It's not quite the same thing.

Had an extremely solid day yesterday, and although today didn't show much promise to begin with, it's also looking extremely promising. Hope it continues in the run up to Christmas.

In the past when things have dropped off I've experimented with unblocking all my blocked URLs and vice versa and never really noticed a big difference. Four days ago I put the block list back up, as things had dropping off for several days. I'm not sure if its coincidence or not but after an average day, I've had two incredibly good back to back days.

11/11/11 is a holiday for some in the U.S. If you have a lot of your traffic from the U.S., you might notice a drop (or increase) today.

Bank holiday weekend here in France too - lots more cars on the road. Surprisingly my earnings are looking quite good so far, and I depend primarily on the US.

11//11/11 is not a holiday in the US. If it was, never heard of it.

So?
Veterans Day, formerly Armistice Day, is an annual United States holiday honoring military veterans. It answers the question if 11/11/11 was a holiday or not.

what I HATE the most is when I watch the earnings for a whole day I see google every hour takes 20% of the earnings every hour and nobody tells me why or prof me that some thing is not earned correct. One thing is for sure nobody is messing with the adsense banners so why are they over day taking about 35-40% of my earnings and its NEVER the other that I get something added. I bet that happens for every single of the adsense publishers around.

I get adjustments, but never 20%.

(If you don't think of it as *yours* until it's settled, it helps. If you can't live with that, then you probably should be looking at other programs, cause it ain't gonna change)

netmeg . ohh google adsense is only 10-20% of my ad revenue, never been a big fan.

Absolutely pathetic November but continuing in the same vein since Panda 2.1, earnings at 46% v 2010, CTR at 52%...what I would like to know from the people who are seeing HUGE increases, just which widget sector are you in?

Are your ads conducive to relatively lightweight, easily postable/deliverable or downloadable products?

I almost forgot I had a world war related website (it only accounts for a minor amount of my Adsense revenue which comes primarily from one site). I suppose it shouldn't have come as any surprise that my visitor stats have just gone through the roof, but unfortunately it's not translating into more revenue for that site.
Yesterday was yet another very solid day, and today looks promising too. If it continues, November should easily beat October.

I am a youtuber, and am looking forward to the increased CPC which is really good for partners like me, as Christmas approaches...however, my CPC has actually gone down...I was getting around 8 cents a click last month, now it is 5...just wondering when the advertisers start paying big bucks for ad space ? Anyone here have any insight ? Ian

November December, people spend big big bucks. It's usually the time of the month where I get the most money. Also when the election roles around, a lot of big bucks be rolling in too.

HuskyPup

Nothing like chucking a curve ball at me!

For November this Sunday saw my second highest click volume, 135.8%, and earning's day, 121.2%, with CTR at 124.6%.

Page Impressions at 108.6%...usually 75-80% for a Sunday.

No one chucks money around in my retail industry for the Xmas season, they never have done, if their orders are not in by now most likely they'll never happen.

A couple of mediocre days, but otherwise November has thrown up some excellent earnings. If it continues, could end up being my best month ever.
