November 2011 AdSense Earnings & Observations

My October 2011 ended with earnings at 45% and Page Impressions at 91.4% v October 2010. I can't imagine what G will do to me later this month running up to Thanksgiving and Xmas!

My month was average up until the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm hoping things will go back to normal in December. I'm quitting my day job in January to work on my own projects, so having a consistent revenue from Adsense (my biggest source of funds) is vital to keeping my anxiety level low.

If you are looking for "consistent revenue from Adsense" you are certainly a gambler. Adsense in my opinion is any but consistent these days.

November is the only month this year that didn't beat its earnings for the same month last year. Only by a few bucks. Lots more traffic, and more clicks even, but EPC seems to be down. I'm cool. It's traditionally my slowest month.

Second best day ever yesterday, and looking mighty awesome today. This month is my best month ever with Adsense. I can't see it continuing, and imagine advertisers are throwing money around this side of Christmas.

Gotta knock on wood man. Superstition works sometimes. I'm the same boat as you. Best month ever. Up 25-30% compared to last month, and over 300% compared to last year same month. Knocking on wood all day man. Gotta keep working hard too.

Best Day Ever was back in 2007...ridiculously wonderful and would be a very welcomed Christmas present!:) Noticing last two days were higher than the norm (slightly)...today it's dive bombing. What an interesting roller coaster Adsense has become ;)

Romeo - I hear you. Yesterday superseded my best ever record by a good healthy margin, and November is my best ever month with Google Adsense. I will keep knocking on wood every day, but I have less confidence that the subsequent months will bring such excellent results.

On Tuesday the 29th I had my highest impressions day since Panda 2.1, the one url channel, a Coppermine gallery, that had been hit by Panda, returned to normal and compared to the rest of November my impressions were at 163.95%.

However that's where the comparison with pre-Panda ends, clicks were at 96.2%, CTR 57.75%, earnings 81.5% and EPC at 88%.

That's two consecutively low days and that's after having had my second best day of November on a Sunday! This is utterly bizarre.

Yesterday gave yet a new record, smashing the previous one for the best ever day I've had. November has been an amazing month - way up on October.

Overall, for me, November continued in the same vein since Panda 2.1, earnings were 90.6% compared to October and 46.7% v November 2010.

Quite simply my CTR 2011 v 2010 was 48.9%.

The last 3 days of November were much lower than average earning days at 85.4%...this does not bode well.

My earnings were down a bit from October, but that happens every year. November 2011 earnings were 130% of November 2010's earnings.

All said and done my adsense for November was 35% higher for november than October. I believe people's budgets started to run out by the end of October because the last week of the month I didn't see the same percentage increases as earlier in the month.
