Thought I'd kick off the thread this month just to prove I'm still here ;)

Does that mean I'm banned or something?

Nope, several, including me, are reporting it here:

Nope, several, including me, are reporting it here:
Even the total amount[s] for yesterday's earnings were updating after 10:30 GMT which doesn't often happen (for me).

@HuskyPup I dont know , was switching the new interface from new to old so I could see my stats on my Blackberry. After 2 hours stats slowed down and received a banned email.

I don't really now what happened, image I've been with them for 7 years.

I have some very weird things on my adsense account.
Record earnings since 2 or 3 months.
Today I reached all earnings I would usually get on a good day in just 3 hours, with 0 pageviews and roughly 25% of normal day's clicks.
Now it looks as if pageviews are working again but the pageviews from the beginning of the day are not there, so I have record earnings on extremely low pageviews and extremely high eCPM (up to 70).

Something is definitely off and reading other people's comments I think they may have some serious issues.

I'm guessing there's a lot of processing usage happening right now and they're not getting very far, slowly, they're certainly giving us all something to post about this last week:-)

Hang on, politicians try to bury something when there's a distraction, what else have they done we haven't noticed?

Was on track for a decent post-Panda day yesterday and then about midnight (EST) it kinda stopped. I see impressions and clicks....but it's scary low. I was just at a point where I thought I was gonna survive, get by.... and now this. Trying to *not* freak out. Feel like a yo-yo. LOL

If yesterday earnings are final, it's dismal.

ork ork ork they just dropped an "urgent message" in my account about missed opportunities by not using three ad units to a page - Dudes, you can't even keep up with reporting on the ad units I *got* !

extremely high earnings again yesterday, +15% my previous record (and still counting) and new all time high for the 4th time this month.
this months average so far is more than +30% last month's (and that was my best month ever)

Yesterday turned out to be a stinker. October's really had none of the highs of September.

And this morning seems to be a little on the high side, so either it's carried over from yesterday, or they're messing with the estimates again.

Record traffic yesterday but sub-standard income. :p

Have you located the source of your traffic fanboy? I had a massive peak about a month back - came from a social website, but it didn't translate into more earnings at all.

My report seems to be back on track. Earnings, impressions seem about spot on for the time of day.

I can't believe the claims they are making ... in writing even. If you read that message you'll see they aren't claiming it may increase your revenues.

They are saying it "will".

And not just "some".

They are claiming it "will substantially increase" overall revenue.

The last two days settled very late (like I didn't get the finals till I woke up the next morning) but settled very well. Today everything looks back to normal.

Just noticed something. My stats are off, or I'm gonna be up 70% this month in clicks. From September I got 36k Clicks in the month. From October 1-18, I already got 30k clicks.

I'm going to report here that yesterday, the impressions seems about normal, but wow, I'm talking near 2 year low. Day before not that much better. I'm very confused. I've had Panda issues, then this? Did I really make that yesterday or should I check it later and expect it to increase? I'm baffled. I really just want to log off the internet for a couple weeks. I can't handle this. Seriously.

@farmboy:

I've tried Google Adsense's "suggestions" in the past and they've always led to a decrease in income. It's all automated as far as I can tell, without any regard to the site in question.

Ain't that the truth.

Recently, I received one of those silly emails telling me that I was missing out on revenue because I didn't have the maximum number of ads displayed. Yeah right.

The truth is that I am not running Adsense on my main site at the moment. It's been an abysmal year.

Well...Looks like my stats are lower when I check them, but every morning they adjust themsevles. So I'm looking a the highest earnings month in my history with adsense. Even though last month was.

I'm really lucky right now. *knocks on wood*

Did Google apply an algo change on 13th / 14th October.

I've been doing other things, but noticed my Adsense income and hits were low over the past week or more. I checked my Analytics and bang, a bunch of my sites all dropped traffic from 13th / 14th October.

I then did a check on my SERPS and they had all lost position also. Last time I did a full SERPs check on all my sites was 9th Oct and they were all in the stable positions they had been all summer.

So has some new differentiator been added? I still haven't recovered my sites from the May Panda affect. Although I spent months refining them to try to appease Google. It looks like nothing works once Google starts slapping.

I've gone from £400+ last April to barely £100 for October from these sites. It was a nice part time income but now they hardly seem worth all the effort of the last year.

@plondon,

At last someone else experiencing a drop in traffic with corresponding reeduction in revenue. I thought I was the only one experiencing these things. As I posted earlier in this thread, my traffic dropped by 90%. One of my sites is now only receiving single figure visitors.
As for revenue the month of October will be the first month since I joined that I will not meet the minimum for payout.

@WordsnCollision

Thanks for the link it explains a lot and, judging from the complaints on that site, Plondon and myself are not the only people suffering from visitor loss.

Yesterday's earnings closed at about 60% of average. October so far has been a bust. Not one average earnings day the whole month. :-(
