Has Google Started Rolling Out Panda 2.2 ?

Has anyone noticed abnormal activity of Google Crawler?

It has started deep crawling again just like it did before Panda 1.0

I had a sharp spike in my crawling since last 2 days.

Traffic has also started to decrease with abnormal behavior. Means there is a sudden decline and spike situation.

This is exactly what happened before Panda. Deep crazy crawling and sharp decline in traffic.

Anyone else noticed this behavior?

I also noticed spike in google crawling during last couple of days but it is slower during last 12 hours, even 40% slower than normal ratio. My visits are also effected during last couple of days.

I observed another strange thing that my indexing is drastically decreased, have you experienced the same?

When people say "lower than normal traffic" is that lower than normal since Panda 1 or lower than normal from before Panda 1, or both?

last june 2010 i lost nearly 50% traffic from google, from yesterday onwards again another loss in traffic.

We are located in the United States and this morning I am seeing an increase in Visitors from California....That is my highest city so far this morning....almost ten times the amount from New York...for us this is very very strange.

We have been down the last couple of days compared to last week's numbers but I looked back to the week before Father's day 2010 and it had a similar drop. If you are not Father's day related, perhaps that could explain some of it (not 50% though).

Checked again and after a little hiccup, I'm up 15% or so on Google. So seeing some recovery on my end. Not sure if these are new Panda hit sites on this thread (who are reporting), but I am one of those hit by Panda big time on Feb. Weird side effect I've noticed: while many of my recent scrapers are gone, one of my older scrapers is back! I guess I will be using the old DMCA on this one.

I wish... I believe it's definitely Panda 2.2 - another of our sites saw a 49% drop in G traffic.

I'm getting a feeling that Panda x.x isn't actually a bear but a horse -- a trojan horse. I think it was promoted as something to clean up the trash but in fact its payload was filled with so much more than just that. It made it easier for them to push out other much needed changes so that they go unnoticed and get camouflauged in the confusion making it that mch more difficult to detect to lessen the possiblity of gaming results. Expect more of it with this latest push. Still not yet time to react I guess?

Isn't Panda 2.2 supposed to fix the original source issue? i still get outranked by scrapers. Nothing changed there. Traffic from G seems unchanged.

@reblaus, I question the scraper fix too. I have scrapers still showing up despite some recovery. So maybe it's something else in the formula. I've been seriously going page by page to fix issues in content that I see. Whether that is helping, I don't know, but I'm trying everything at this time, even doing tons of rewrites, doing DMCAs, redesigning, etc.

There was a SLIGHT drop in traffic for me yesterday compared to Monday and Tuesday. Nothing drastic at all, and it was about the same amount of traffic I get for most Wednesdays. I am located in California.

I am seeing a big recovery near to pre Panda levels. I am waiting a few days to see if is stable.

For another site i see from ~2 days the homepage is not listed first at site: command. Yesterday was not first on .com, but was listed first on another Google TLDs. Today is not listed in top 10 on any google.tld
No traffic fluctuation. Anyone experiencing this?

If this is the Panda 2.2 release, I'm surprised there isn't more attention to it in various online sources.

I'm part of the DaniWeb community and they reported traffic going up. So some of those hit on Feb 24 are indeed moving up, or rather, creeping up. But given the shakeouts, we never know what's next. Dani reported her small recovery 3 adjustments ago (in late May) so I assume she's moved further up. I saw upticks for my site on June 6 and then again on June 15. We're only talking about Google search here, not overall traffic.
