supplementals.

I see my supplementals nearly gone one minute and all back the next. It is driving me nuts.

They are all in my robots.txt file (for about 30 days) and now I have added links to them from my home page to attempt to get G to do something about them.

Additionally, some jagger2 DCs are showing my home page now but it is showing the wrong one (non-www). I have no links to non-www and it's cache is an older date than the www version.

I am losing hope with this update.

>> It can be reversed,if you change the whole content of the certain page and have it recrowled. <<

It is very rare to be able to reverse it. The page may show as a normal result for the new page content, but will carry on for ever more still showing as a supplemental result when you search for the old page content. The snippet will show the old page content when you search for that old content too.

The cache will show the modern content when you search for content currently on the page, but when searching for old content the state of the cache seems to be random.

For some old results, you are presented with a cache copy from 18 months ago, while for other old searches (although the snippet shows ancient content) you are presented with the moden cache from just a few days ago, a cache of content that does not reflect what you searched for nor what is shown in the snippet.

Ok (I have stickied brett regarding the 301 as he is unlikely to read this thread I guess - except to cut out cr@p - guess it was dropped with the change of hosts)

This ordering I am talking about - is really only consistent on 66.102.9.104 & 66.102.11.104 at the moment (so not all Jagger2s)

Presumably the J2 (66.102.11.99 and the like) have tweaked something in regards to back-links and perhaps google-bombing.

As most know, if you typed FAILURE in G you got the bio of GWB. On the J2 DC's this seems to be corrected.

Just a thought that J2 might center around back-link quality, relevance etc...

Jagger1 and Jagger two are separate things. Jagger2 is not built on top of Jagger1.

Then why were the updates not started simultaneously from the beginning?

If one doesn't rely on the other there would have been no problems in doing so.

A twist of lemon bar tender?

Probably because it is easier to track and deal with problems and issues if they are implemented at different times.
