Noticed changes in PR for sites of mine right now! Finally!

Gone from 3 to 4 on index, 3 on most article pages. Already suspected it would increase as ranking has got a lot easier during the last few weeks or so.
Hoping the PR will move with the domain when we will replace our keyword domain for a branded one. (planning 301 redirects)

Long hours on link development to see my site go from a PR5 to a PR4.
Not thrilled.

I'd notice the update too. I was surprised that my PR ranking goes from 0 to 5 for a 2-month old blog.

That's impressive, congratulations :)
Do you have your own domain or are you in a subdomain of a large site?

The newer sites I have went up a notch or two or three. The older sites all went down a notch. Go figure.

My 2 month old blog got an amazing PR2! Not surprised though, no link building work yet.
Anybody else expect an increase in PR, and ended up with a lower PR?
Would be interesting to see if the algo changed link criteria a little more than people expected.

I finally went from 5 to 6 after 2 years of building out the site, and getting natural links along the way.
2 years! Yippee!

Site's been up since April, went from 0 to 2 throughout the whole site. Not bad.

Mine has moved up as well

It said I was due to move up one point for PR. It moved down one point instead.
I can guess which tool you were using :) That tool said my PR will go down, but it went up instead ;)
TbPR makes for a good wager, and just that IMHO.

Expected a pr6 for my main site but it is now showing pr5 instead. Erm, better than dropping though. :>

Hmm.
Index has stayed the same but all internal pages now have the same pr as the index. Good Stuff!

Humm, PR6 before this update, now after doing some serious link building with some high quality sites over the last 2 months we are a PR5?

Were they link exchanges? Google's seems not too keen on link exchanges (but can't outrightly ban them in the webmaster guidelines).

90% of them were exchanges, however we have had quite a few one way links to us from high profile sites with good PR, however as i am ranked 4th on a 30 million+ keyword now (gone up from 9th) i am to be honest, not that worried about PR ranking as it seems to have not affected our ranking in any detrimental way, so all those who say that PR plays a tiny % in ranking i would tend to agree with them on the face of this evidence Steve

Just checking a site of mine that is new and it's a little green.
Is anyone else noticing this?

Looks like Google has unpdated backlink status. my site has galloped to 197 back-links from 30. But lots of links are "similar pages" or my own site. Is there some kind of indication that we have to read from it? Is it a good or bad sign? Anything to worry? Please reply. My older site also shows a v.marginal improvement and lesser urls of my own site.

Hi all,
Few minutes ago I noticed that PR has been updated. I do not see any major moves on SERPs which means that it's just a PR toolbar update.
Please post your comments and share your experiences.

Anyone else noticing a PageRank update? I'm seeing several of my sites shifting (both up and down). It also looks like there was a Link: update and a Directory update. Does Google generally do these updates all at the same time?

I am seeing lots of updated PR on pages on various sites, but not all that I had expected. Hope it is still a work in progress.
