Good to see ya renke!
I was expecting a face full of cra*.
Instead, I found pages from original drug company right up top, followed by sensible articles etc.,
plus one very humorous (and to me original) site about email spam.
Offhand, I'd say that's a damned good set of results for the first page at least.
I suggest the same exact test for Y and MSN and others. -Larry
What is a Rencke?
George123 - Google didn't lose $200 a day, they just decided to give it to someone else. With you and EFV having problems someone in the European travel sector must be having a field day.
First, you don't threaten them. They could care less. Another site got your adsense money, it's that plain and simple so Google is not losing anything.
Second, if I was a Google engineer, I would hate to get that e-mail, and would look for an excuse to penalize your site even more.
Third, you posted your site here, and without going into too many details, those few pages I checked, just had the name changed. Like saying Car insurance, have a generic paragraph and only change the state from NJ, to CA, to LA and so on. Sorry, but you asked for it by putting the site here and challenging people.
Relax...take a week or so off and look at it differently.
I am wondering if one of the primary variables in this update concerns the primary "money" keywords people bid on for adwords?
"Great. Now I have to keep scrolling till I find the pharmacy. "
Via6ra is easy to get, check your email. Google for aspirins too. Has G been unkind to you?
What I don't understand is all that Russian spam about sqeretzl. I don't know sqeretz from spaghetti,
and their letters 'R' are simply ass backwards. Does anyone in Russia expect me to order some sqeretz
because of a spam email? - Larry
if you search for "widget", I think they're assuming that you want info about, not a store to buy it
I personally always search "buy widget" if searching for "widget" just returns info pages and I am looking for stores to buy from. Either that or I go to froogle or another popular price comparison site :) - Its just a shame other Joe searchers do not seem to be doing this.
Nay, its nice to see a fair mix of ecom sites and info sites in results.

Losing 20 places in the serps is bad but its the life of SEO entrepreneur to try to adapt and regain those positions.
The only thing that I think are really bad is how can asite that has been top 1 for 2 years now can be found at position 200 and more, on all datacenters. What could have changed so much?
My guess, is that google will wants less on page optimization, and less optimized anchor text internal linking... but its just my gut feeling
what do you think?
What's interesting is my homepage went from a PR4 back to a PR6 on Friday. The last time the site was PR6 a few months ago, I had #1 keyword for nearly 100% of my main terms.
It seems Google just replaced the current PR by using the previous one. There are many posts in this thread reported this behavior. Hope it will be changed soon.
EFV, How long ago did you implement your 301 from www to non-www? I see all supplemental results when doing site:www but none (and many more pages) when doing it without the www
I implemented thr 301 redirect at the end of March, about a week after I got whacked by Google's March 23 update.
Re those site:www and site:[non-www] results: I've been seeing those for quite some time, and the numbers of each haven't changed in a few days. I'm still seeing the same numbers of results for both that I was seeing before this latest update.
Jeez, what a day. My main computer's c: drive just got trashed this morning. Talk about insult being added to injury!

paranoia,
I agree with that. "Joe Searcher" is one of the reasons we see so many scraper doorway pages. And I agree with you on there being more of a mix of store and info sites for "widgets" appearing with this update. I would say that in the real world when Joe/Jane searcher types in "widgets" it's 50/50 whether they are looking to buy or looking for information.
This update may be more geared toward fine tuning the serps in response to searcher behavior more so than penalizing whatever google may consider to be blackhat seo
