Is the team at Google on Holiday until the New Year? Still waiting for the dance.

Actually, my hopes were crushed. They indexed the only 6 pages that I didn't put any metatags on. They don't even come up in a search. I have to type the URL in directly. But atleast they are in. Actually, I had metatags in them but they cached it almost a month ago it looks like and I didn't have tags then.

:(

not everflux.

i really don't know what i am doing wrong. i read through these forums every day, i try to make as many improvements as i can, i am getting quality reciprocal links... yet my site is not climbing. i know i should just keep trying but i am beginning to feel that i really can't be bothered to be obsessed with google 24/7.

Something did happen. All my sites with the acception of one have new caching. They all come up with new cache but you can't find them if your life depended on it. I think Google is putting websites in their index without any regard to their metatags. One of my sites was optimized perfectly and it ended up scanning the bottom of the page where the address was. It didn't even consider the metatags. After looking at other listings, it also looks as though Google has shrunk the amount of words a Title can have in it. One more thing......Since I have Javascript in the site, it placed a piece of my code where the description tag should be. Bummer. So instead of a description of the content of the site, it has Script language. :(

My counter was cached with the website. It says the website was cached on December 8, 2002. The page looks a little bit different. Funny thing is that it wont come up at all unless I put the domain.

I don't think they are done with indexing it.

So instead of a description of the content of the site, it has Script language.

You might want to check your JavaScript syntax again. GoogleBot does not crawl JavaScript from what I understand which suggests your code may be broken.

i have new sites which are coming up in the top ten today during the google dance for my keywords in data center one and two. does this mean when the dance is over with that is most likely where they will be?
