I got bing.conm here in Italy.
The Algo seems to me more "local".
I am curious about the way bing.com find local results: one factor seems IP location...
My sites rankings in Bing mirror Google's for the most part and I seem to have been spared from affiliate product page hell. All keywords return regular listings, not the affiliate content we saw in the videos.
Some differences. I'm seeing some .at sites mixed in with the .com's and I'm also seeing exact match sub-domains for the first time in a long time. Is Bing more friendly to sub-domains?
One thing I don't like though is how bad they are pushing to shop with Cashback
I have to agree, it's attached to sponsored listings too. I can also see potential for abuse, the popup form that asks for information seems to rely on email a lot. I bet someones already hard at work making code to spoof that popup.
edit: It's got bugs for sure. I typed in "planet bing" for the heck of it and it returned planet bing and planet bong. The bug is that it also showed me sponsored listings that say I can buy planet bing from eBay and the "Bing Cashback" link took me to an empty ebay page that said Microsoft will pay 8% of the bill if I use paypal and BIN... right now. I guess bugs are par for the course.

My images are on other peoples sites, hotlinked right from my site, yet the link from Bing is to them, not me.

The results are very similar to Google, which is a good thing. I think BING is seriously going to make Google sweat. I can do stuff like USD GBP to get currency rates, get weather reports by typing in "new york weather", get stock quotes etc. Very impressive.
If BING can somehow cooperate with webmasters at a higher level than Google, I reckon it's going to make BING better. The way Google treats webmasters right now, is like spare change.
Maybe some sort of penalty system, so if a website is found to be buying links etc. BING can email them a warning, and if they still are found to be buying links, it penalizes them. Much better that how Google treats their webmasters.
New UI feature: - not sure how I feel about this as a webmaster; images - view image result - brings back a framed version of the page - with additional images available in scroll bar.
How much traffic are people seeing from real users via Bing?
On the downside, some secondary phrases seem a little weak (still better than before though).
The worst thing that I noticed was (as always) some of the localised results - UK results seem to be a lot weaker than US results. When are they going to realise that many people host their sites in the US even though they are not based there?
Doubt it. Considering that most webusers can't even change their start page with ease.

I see better results as well.
However, #bing fail for me - I search for netmeg and the first result is the wikipedia entry for nutmeg. Even Google and Yahoo both know better than that.
It is clear Bing is going after local search in a big, big way. This is not surprising but it is not good news for local web sites who live and die by ads, such as newspapers--more ad dollars going to search engines. And they cannot seriously expect any bump in traffic.
