What Are We Going To Name This Baby!

Update Less Than Two Weeks Out!

Anybody picked a name for this update? If not we better start thinking of good male names!

As hurricanes are named, so too should the Google update ... alphabetically and alternating between male and female. Since the Boston update was named Cassandra, then a male name starting with a "D" should suffice.

Here are a few. I have provided last names just because I felt like it! :)

Dennis (the Menace)
Donald (Duck)
Darth (Vader) ... Luke, I am your service provider.
Daniel (of the Lion's Den)
Damian (Escariot)

or, my personal favourite:

D'ante' (Inferno)

The name means:

A strong sense of responsibility in business and material affairs, and the practicality and determination to make a success of anything undertaken. Ability to organize and
direct the efforts of others enables D'ante' to excel in any managerial position and the ability to grasp the concept of a goal complete with an understanding of the steps to be taken.

D'ante' just bodes well for a successful and agreeable update! :)

Is Boston a male first name? I'm not familiar with that. I think the trend is purely word beginning with B for the second update of the year, C for the third, D for the fourth. Hard to triangulate with just two points!

I really liked the D'ante suggestion above. Very fitting, and follows the pattern.

This is total Madness. Hey, how about we dispense with the alphabetical order, go straight to M, and use "Madness."

In the ska version, we could break out our saxophones and sing "PageRanking Full Stop."

For those classically enclined, we could break out the piano, call it "Google Madness," and say "Play faster. Play faster. Update faster."

My 2 cents -
I think the M/F alternating alphabetical makes sense.

So my recommendations would be:

Donald - meaning world ruler or king (which Google has become)

Dante - meaning enduring

Dieter - meaning warrior of the people

Dipak - meaning little lamp or light - also the Hindu god of Love

We should put it to a vote...the dance will be upon us soon enough....
