I’ve noticed a RPM decrease during and after Christmas. Hoping it rises again. I feel that might be the main reason things are a bit low. I received a nice amount of clicks yesterday but the RPM wasn’t where it use to be. I’ve noticed a decrease in CTR as well since Christmas too weirdly.

For me it’s CPC, really went down after Christmas.

If "transition from primarily paying publishers per click to the display industry standard of paying per impression" mimics the results I've had with ad houses like NeworMedia, I'm preparing to make less revenue with Adsense than ever before. These 3rd Party places have never been able to best Adsense in money-making for me - ever. Guess the 20 year honeymoon is over.

"Taylor said this update will provide a more consistent way to pay publishers for their ad space across Google’s products and third-party platforms."

This seems to be the only benefit coming to Publishers - but I dont recall this being an issue with any publisher I know. We are certainly way down on the totem pole.

Happy new year everyone, 2024 is almost here and may have arrived for some of you already. With a new year there’s new hope that it will be better then the last one, so positive vibes and good luck to all.

I am finishing December down 5% from December of 2022. I finished 2023 working hard on the content of my websites. Hopefully, it'll pay off in 2024. Here's to a better 2024 for everyone.
