Not crazy about the user experience using Google's auto ads. Gave it another try and the ads were really messing with the user experience.

Not seeing any huge RPM fluctuations. For the past two weeks, the RPM has stayed within the +/- 15% corridor from average.

First, a few days were horrible, after that promising and now horrible again.
Very strange fluctuations.

Looks like an early 1/3 CPC and 25% rpm decrease this morning, for me. Let’s see if it evens out.

@kireb this is my point exactly. They tell you to make your site lightening quick. Then, pushes ads that makes the site really low. I've used amp and lazy loads as well and the resources too are optimised but still it's not at its best. Get your act together google

Massive drop of earnings. I'm from Philippines. Probably due to COVID-19.

@Saver
You were making good money is that from one website or multiple the 200 to 300 daily earnings?
Broaster
12:45 am on May 16, 2020 (gmt 0)
@delorean do they pay you in pesos or USD in the Philippines?
Im from the USA and I noticed my Philippine traffic the clicks pay 1 to 2 cents very low. Is your traffic coming from your country or is it mostly global from USA and Europe where a click pays more?

Are RPM getting normal or is it just a momentary lapse from the G's side?

@broadster just the one, no time to put into another site. The site I run needs updating everyday, 30-70 posts depending on how busy the day gets.

@Saver what type of niche is your website and how old is it? My website is a sports blog and its 12 years old, I made good money the first 5 years and then the algorithms came about 2013 and I haven't made much money or traffic since

@Broaster Google pays in USD. My payment method is via Western Union and I prefer to convert the USD to Philippine Peso for convenience. My 90% of traffic comes from Philippines. Regarding CPC, yes its very low just like what you said. I'm still sad with the situation but I hope this is temporary and will become better in the succeeding months.
Google will not approve new sites due to COVID-19.

Well, this Sunday wants to break a new low record. It started well, but now is well under the medium figures for half day. eCPM is going down with each report refresh on Ad Manager. Adsense is dead this month.

I also just realized something concerning the potential throttling of accounts. Over the past 3 months, I have earned almost exactly the same amount from Adsense. Two of the months were the EXACT same about (down to the penny) and the 3rd month was $10 more. I had heavy gains removed those months too. Crazy.

@Mentat I also live for ads bro but checking your AdSense earnings daily reduce your earnings no matter what try and leave it for 5days without checking and check the 6th day and see your earnings atleast it will be fair a little bit that's the logic

Why would checking Adsense reduce your earnings? That would be illegal.

I am seeing a slight improvement in terms of RPM compared to April. Still pretty bad YoY basis though. April was a massacre, a solid zero or even negative after deducting server and bandwidth costs.
