New month, nothing new with AdSense, though. Thank god the clawback is just 10 EUR for me this month. Turns out almost none of my traffic is invalid.

Lol when it's not the start of a holiday it's the end of a quarter. Isn't it the end of the quarter than it's Valentine's day. Isn't it Valentine's day than it's the weather...

Overall through the years it's just Adsense that earns less per 1,000 views.

Last 1.5 month is just awful with their problems (look at the status dashboard). This is or was THE moment for another company to launch a product like Adsense but more interested in the publisher.

If you have a high traffic website, Exponential is a good company for supplementing your Adsense revenue.

Prepare for the lowesr summer in adsense history and check your account only once week.

@Sissi, why only check your account once a week?

@gatomark
In order to enjoy your life, while checking every 10 min it would not change the results at the end.
Just a way to say do what to do in order to improve your sites and accept the situation.
At the end it s easy earned money and at the latest end it s only money.

Enjoy the summer
Who knows how many normal summers we still have

it would not change the results at the end.

hum... Twice my Internet connection was down , so I couldn't check the stats , and each time, when I was able to check again I had earned a lot more than usual :) So, since that time I only look once a week ... I know it's pure coincidence, but you know,... the power of superstitions :)

@dimitri

Adsense makes us supertitious and it works:)
I had some third kind of encounters with Adsense:
Cheking one of my domains and after an hour or two somebody clicked on it...(not me)
Or you wake up one morming (early this year) and you see a euro 3 digit click (yes) and thinks it s a mistake and Adsense will correct at the end of the month but no it keeps it.
Therefore work on your pages for your users and Adsense will pay.
Don t misunderstand me, my revenues went down by 50 pc but now they are stable.

That's it! I will just check my Adsense dashboard after a week... it just affects my emotions. LOL!

I find evaluating ads several times a day and blocking / deleting the bad and irrelevant ones a worthy effort. I wouldn't want to go a week and let those ads populate my site.

@Skaterpunk why worry about rubbish ads if Adsense pays almost nothing these days? I can't review the thousands of new ads each day, not worth the hours of time.

AMP traffic is now worth 1/2 of what it was 1 week ago. Insane!

@Runfun, I still care about the integrity of what's on my site. The day that I start to think "who cares", is the day I shut it all down.

If Adsense is paying rubbish and filled with crap ads, time to remove Adsense altogether, which I have done in the past.

I understand your point of view but in my case there are 40K+ ads to be reviewed. Once I reviewed each evening ads for an hour for a couple of weeks. There's no end at it and most intrusive I can't even block with Adsense or the publisher tool plugin at Chrome.

@Runfun, Do you use the ad balancer? I can eliminate most spam and irrelevant ads with it.

Another beautiful AdSense experiment.

Texts on link ads are blue and background is bright yellow.

I have renewed my hosting account and doamains for one year to give it last try. I xan only hope it gets better later half of this year . I had about €13.5 page rpm same period last year . It has slowly decreased to €4.5 at this moment . CTR went from 3.5 to 1.5 lol .

This is the first time I noticed a new layout for Adsense Ad Units.

I did create a new Display Ad about a week ago that was still using the old format.

@Skaterpunk, I've started a new test with the balancer but previous tests weren't that promising.

A general question for who uses Ad Manager (everyone should use it with Adsense...), I want to use responsive ads and use them as a line item but it seems like I can't use responsive ads when I use 'type' Adsense. When I use price priority I can use them but I'm not sure it's the right solution.

@Runfun, I tried it once before but was never successful in implementation.

I'm afraid Google will be completely gone from my site again at the end of the month. It's absolutely pathetic.

@azlinda, it is OK if you have an alternative.

Last months are very disappointing. Each month is going worse and worse.
RPM dropped to ~30 cents.
Thinking about finding alternatives or another form of monetization.

@bugthinker, Media.net has been outperforming Google. I never in a million years thought that would happen, but it has. Yes, I have several good alternatives to AdSense.

Today there where also problems with Google Calendar. I've no idea what's happening at Google/Alphabet but there's not a week passing by without problems with their products.

I have started to feel that AdSense limits earnings. The earnings remain same even with the rise in traffic. When earning is high, we have a clawback.

Today's unrelated tip: Always back up your database before performing a Windows update! Darn it!

@MayankParmar it does feel like that sometimes. I'm beginning to wonder.
